Lucan 196 Report post Posted February 6, 2013 Alternator died in the coupe yesterday, barely made it home.. Took out the old one and replaced with a spare I had kicking round, took out clusters and painted needles red, resoldered fuel and temp grounds as they were both playing up and finished putting in E36 window switches. Succesful day off

huff3r 347 Report post Posted February 6, 2013 mmm pretty ugly Yup, I'm hoping to be able to rip out everything, and then maybe get a firewall and passengers floor off a wreck, otherwise I'll try fix it. I doubt anyone will buy it in this state, so I may as well track it. Because race car.

Cheers, I'll keep that in mind. Will be a slow build unless I manage to get a job soon though haha. I'll probably hit it with the wire wheel tomorrow and see how it looks.
