Shattered the windedge tray and which caught under the car so had to jack it up to pull it out, Popped the fog light out and broke the bracket for it, smashed the mesh grill, cracked the bumper and dislodged it from it's corner mount, broke the wee clips that hold the brake ducts inplace and somehow lost the opposite side indicator lense. Aswell as leaving furr and alot of blood down the side of the car. Wonder if it's worth the hassle claiming insurance on it?

Haha yea you gotta get something out of them. Might figure out what it's gunna cost me to repair it Vs insurance excess (400 I think) + premium increase of any.

if your insurance is like mine, anything short of a write-off isn't worth claiming :(

Finally got around to fitting the rear motorsport bumper on the touring. Now just got to man up and drill holes to fit the side skirts.

Found out HP coating for the headers will be $392 (for the coating) and $74 for a chemical strip of the carbon inside etc with a 1.5-2 week turn around time.

Yey... the costs continue! :D

getting some panel and paint on the old e28

replacing some average panels with better ones

like a new sunroof panel , better straighter front mtec bumper , tidier front bonnet .

better rear boot lip spoiler , new windscreen and trims around it.

sort a few small rust spots , scratches etc.

should look prett good when done

its been a while since i spent any time/money on the body work etc.

got tyres fitted to the schnitzers today and banged them on the M3, only problem is the spacers on the fronts to clear the struts only allow 2-3 turns of thr wheel studs so need to get some longer ones now. anyone got some?

also got it assessed by insurence so hopefully be getting fixed end of next week :D
