@Kees those Style 216 rims really suit it, prefer them to the standard 17/18's. LMB is the best colour I think. With a new bumper you shouldn't have much trouble moving it on.

Weird that its chewing that much gas, not normal, unless you are driving like a total animal :D Scanned it? Full trims or something might be all up the pish

To be fair I've been fanging it heaps. Once a car is warmed up its fair game in my head to take it high in the rev range frequently lol.

I'll reset it and drive responsibly and see how it goes.

Yeah I think it should be quite an attractive car once the front bumper is sorted. The wheels are nice to distinguish it from basically every other 1 series you see, must be quite a rare set? I saw they came on a limited edition 130 sold in the UK.

Anyone know anything about this one?

Parents are looking for a run around and I suggested a 130, and they seem pretty happy.
I know a bit about them as a former owner so I'm not worried too much - but anything major to look for/know?

Don't want to send them away in a 130i and for it to break down on them!

You have to preventatively replace parts if you want to greatly reduce of chance of breaking down, otherwise its just luck on cars this old. The average owner (like the one you have linked above) doesn't want to do that because it cost a lot of money initially to do it properly..

Whilst I agree with this statement it's also worth pointing out that, based on the recent work completed, the cooling system is the only glaring risk here IMO.

Wasn't a water pump stupid expensive on these things? That and the HPFP?

Waterpump and thermostats are $700ish in a kit, there is no HPFP.

I was thinking more sensor\electrical related issues eg Valvetronic, but suppose that more drivability issues than flat out breaking down.

Interesting colour, and the Alpine Retrofit soundsystem, listed on Queenstown Trading.

$13500ono.. wow.  Would rather the Blue one on here and $9500 to spend.  Must be early 2000's Alpine prices.

Haha there she is! Currently has 1.2 million views on Tik Tok, and about 200,000 on Instagram (if anyone cares).

My only gripe about that car is it protested to being reviewed by him by fogging up its driver's side headlight after I washed it, and then the moisture promptly went away after filming concluded. That will forever annoy me haha.

I didn't know Johnah Hill from Super Bad did rage reviews.

He missed the shitty fuel flap that slaps around on windy roads.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the site, and new to BMW ownership. Just bought a 2007 130i (not sure if anyone knows this one?). Seems to be in great condition, and just the usual oil leaks that seem to be pretty common for BMW's!

Looking forward to putting some kms on it, and enjoying the banter on here.

Cheers

Andy
