3 pointswww.germanplates.com Just make yourself aware of the implications please. They're a bit like smoking weed, not legit but hardly a 'real' crime. Much cheaper than smoking weed but...

1 pointI love M coupes. But they are expensive and you can only really drive them Projects are fun I was thinking perhaps a Z3 coupe would be a good base, but remove all the crap at the back, boot, and convertible gear Developed an extensive roll cage that has the same general outter dimessions as the M coupe rear frame work Of course this would need to be nicely done and meet regulations as well as be designed in the right way so it actually works as a strengethening device Outter skin with perhaps alloy sheeting and lexin windows could be used for the upper body work, rivited style similar to that of a Landrover Defender, not perfect but nice Yes I'm just being crazy with ideas, but I think there would be some potential to a project like this, thoughts? Of course motor upgrades are another matter.

1 pointHi guys, as the title states I am running a 3.15 lsd in my e30 behind a getrag 260, I would like to swap for a medium case 3.73 LSD if anyone has one available Contact me on 02102916373 The diff has likely had a rebuild with new bearings etc, it runs redline lsd oil and it works perfectly, no noises etc

1 pointThat would look hideous without the massively widened feders etc that the M coupe has.

1 pointIm sure I see this car near my office on Penrose Rd? Sometimes? Looks pretty coolios

1 pointAny paint pen from the stationery shop works fine, it's no secret type. Just make sure there's no silicone on your tyres. The only sh*t ones are the ones designed for tyres. The ones with the square nib work best. UNI Posca works well.

1 pointThank you Mr. Westy! However I know the level of my English knowledge is not that much fluent but at least I try my best to express myself clear, understandable, kindly, politely and diplomatically correct! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1 pointWell here you have it folks: Write up on ECC for those who want to read it all! Huge thanks to Ray, Daniel Kim, Work Wheels (Harvey) Precision Autowerk, ECC Crew, United Car Care. List goes on. Was almost in tears seeing it roll out after two months of work. Went with P Zeros.. and love them. 1 pointDiscussion of politicians' vehicles is always going to be a source of humour, derision or taxpayer annoyance They are premium luxury vehicles with a short life in service that look like conspicuous consumption - just like the huge numbers of $1000 iPhones and iPad being used by public servants. There may be an interesting or surprising business case that actually makes good sense - but there's still the smell of 'bling' Peter (the other not me) is just voicing what many/most will think and I don't think his comment warrants others (inc. a mod) having a go at him. Let's keep it friendly dudes. Anyway - do wonder who ends up buying these - Ls are huge and the flagpole attachments must be tempting to use!

1 pointThanks to AK330i. I exactly coded as below and it worked like a charm. Mine was a 2007 e92 335i. Saved me a few hundreds The only thing to note is after coding shutoff the car and give it like 5 , 10 mins to start picking up NZ frequencies. When I checked immediately after coding, I saw FM and AM disabled. After a while they came up automatically. These are the settings that I changed in the CCC idrive: CHOST ------------------------------------------- LAENDERVARIANTE_GT ece CTUNE ------------------------------------------- RDS_AF_FUNKTION_CCC rds_ein_af_automatisch LAENDERVARIANTE_TUNER_ANT ece CAPPL ----------------------------------------- LAENDERVARIANTE_TUNER ece

1 pointJust test drive a car with RFTs first. My car has 19's so probably a worst case due to the low tyre profile, but I'd describe RFTs as feeling like my car had wooden wheels.

1 pointI'm looking at options myself... dealing with this guy at the moment, prices are sharp. http://www.bmwfabric.com/#!home/mainPage
