And every single 730Ld has been “Helen Clarke’s car” or “John Key’s Car” or even “the Royal Tour Car” . And don’t forget the “armour plated” and “bullet proof glass” options.

Someone online that you don't even know has a cooler and more powerful car than you, does a skid (that you don't agree with). Resorts to personal attacks calling the guy low IQ and a drongo lol.

Was having a browse on Japanese auction listings and noticed only a couple of manuals, going for around $12k NZ ( 120k+ kms and shipped here). Autos are still priced where I remember ($6-8k and plentiful) from when I last looked a couple years back. Will keep an eye on it and see if they're becoming more scarce, thus pricier to import.

Well, as a person grows up and matures, they tend to have a more responsible attitude. Don't worry, it will happen to you soon enough Cheers...

Might have been a dealer MD or something, you never know but with 14 owners in NZ according to CarJam I don’t know how anyone could be sure of anything. There was a period of time where it seemed like every used imported S Class and 7 Series was a “diplomatic car” in Japan or Singapore when it was sold here.

I think it probably needs an intervention from M539 Restorations on YT!

750ils come up fairly often and generally at a pretty low price, the only thing this has going for it is the spec. I wonder if its 71,000 KM or Miles (since UK import with Miles cluster). Its a nice car, but not many people want a LWB V12 barge. I still think adding Q&A to classifieds on TM was a bad idea. It was the best way to weed out the idiots with opinions; if they wanted to say it was over priced they used to have to actually contact you, and had no public visibility. Now its a free for all for anyone with a keyboard.

The 20’s are a noticeable step up again in cost from 19’s if you want reputable brands. Budget 2.5-3k / set

I prefer to go with "SKIDZ are for KIDZ" and that includes kids of all ages For some people having a car that will do decent skids means that they will do skids when they feel like it. Just the same as having a car that will accelerate quickly, reach a high top speed or handle well on a racetrack means engaging in some form of organised motorsport. I don't have a problem with any of that. Drag racing, drifting or burnout competitions conducted within an arena provided with barriers to keep the spectators safe are OK if that is your thing. But it concerns me that with the ready availability of powerful cars there are more and more instances of enthusiastic amateurs doing skids to show off and ending up damaging their own or other vehicles and endangering spectators. I admire the time, money and effort that goes into building high powered cars, and I like to see them performing in whatever form of motorsport they were built for. But, as the saying goes... "with great power comes great responsibility". Sometimes it seems that the responsibility is lacking. Cheers...

We've not found anything we can't get from sources in Germany and SA. Just need to join the relevant Baur groups. They seem to arrange remanufacture faster than most.

ARGH people that screw euro plates straight into the bumper cover instead of using a plinth or plate frame.
