Hi All. Sorry, another bloody x-pom.. I pick this up on Saturday. Looking for the roady back to Darfield, Selwyn.. I've had a few BM's in my time but this is going to be a good one.😎 I plan to make some subtle changes. Just wondering if there is many of these around Christchurch. Catch you around Christchurch guys.. Gary. (xpom)

showing a lack of maintenance. showing it's age is a result of following the standard kiwi maintenance plan (do f*ck-all, then pass it off as 'old').

Long time no post. Did a bit of a roadtrip last weekend down to Manfield for a track day. Everything went well, stayed off the walls and nothing broke. Great success...! Pretty pleased with the brakes; I changed to CSL rotors and pads (the latter are apparently the same as standard) about 5,000kms ago, and put on a set of Goodridge braided lines. No brake fade after 5 hot laps, good enough for me.

I usually stick a wheel or something extra under the car, not trusting my life on any single point of failure!

@E30 325i Rag-Top Not too sure if you’ve viewed the e30 you had a bidding party with but I viewed it yesterday. While one of them looks alright, not too sure if the other rust spot should be of concern (2nd photo). Wonder how much it’d cost to repair. Engine also didn’t turn over first time around even though it was already warm (Ross said it hasn’t happened before even when left for a few weeks), and generally takes a bit more time to start - may just be the engine showing its age.

I'm guilty of it myself occasionally but does everybody realise that referring to China in the way that this thread does is certifiably racist? Any country can make crap products and often quality control is a reflection of the demands put upon the manufacturer, not the capability of the manufacturer (or their staff). Apple's products are all made in China and are rarely considered poor quality (whether you think they suck or not). 🤔 NB: I'm anti-woke and don't think cultural (mis)appropriation is a thing, I'm just pointing at a turd and calling it sh*t.

That’s what all racists say. Jokes aside, I think if a product is 💩 then call it as such, don’t need to identify it with a certain people group. Anyway, being too PC is tiring so I’ll stop there. Your little rant about ducks is making me want to eat roast duck

I disagree, I have personally put out 3 fires that would have become much more serious, with 1kg automotive fire extinguishers, its all about getting them under control while they are small fires.

Ridiculously, this has been listed as Automatic so doesn't show up in my standard trademe search for Manual BMWs... not great marketing.
