3 pointsAccording to the vin this car is a non-sunroof version. It's just a lazy ad by a guy trying to flip it to make money. Sunroof delete would usually mean the sunroof has been replaced by a fixed panel to save weight.

2 pointsHey there i have experienced the same issue. car was stalling out. opened my ECU box and found there to be water in there which was causing my car to stall and throw random check lights at me. e91 330i wagon. Just wondering what the best thing would be to do, ive taken the ECU out and trying to dry it as best as i could but how much would a second hand ECU to replace and re flash be etc? Does my ecu look salvageable or do I need a new one? Any info would be great thanks cheers Located Auckland New Zealand.

Have also done the speedo gears I have had the car certified for the engine upgrade & bigger brakes Has a brand new WOF & Registration Engine oil & Filter was replaced two weeks ago This car is fantastic to drive, as far as I am aware there is nothing to do to this car, get in, drive & enjoy it, like I have I am asking $15000.00 Any questions, or if you need more photos, let me know

1 pointSome debate about this. Hopefully an announcement from BMW will help. "If a vehicle is initially ordered with heated seats, that option will remain fully operational for the life of the vehicle," BMW said. It clarifies, "BMW Functions on Demand on the other hand is designed to offer premium features through software upload that use data and sensors from factory option hardware already built into BMW vehicles." So hackers will be still able to make money, in accordance with free market attitudes. Ransoming your vehicles ability to do stuff may also present opportunities.

1 point95 or 98 will be fine for it. As above, just skip 91. Enjoy the G20, have had mine for 2 years and still love it

1 pointCleaned everything up, checked the crank seal, to make sure it wasn't the crank seal plate that had damaged it and caused oil to leak onto the belt, but it was all good, with no rubbing at all, so would definitely recommend the VTT crank seal plate fitment is good. Cleaned as much of the oil up as I could, so I can tell if there's still oil leaking, cleaned the belt as best as I could so I could drive home, will source new belt to be safe. Decided I may as well replace my leaky fuel injector on cylinder 1 as I already had a spare one that id put a new seal and decoupler on. Chucked that in to make sure any fuel leak wouldn't thin out my fresh oil I was about to put in. Injector swap was very easy took about 10min. Wrote down all of the calibration values for all 6 and had my friend code them for me. New filter and oil, and coolant top up and bleed, primed the oil pump which almost killed my battery. Car fired up nicely and ran smooth with no issues to report so far. Just the drive belt to replace now and keep an eye on to see if any oil is leaking out still. Also dropped off the white CSL style wheels for vapour blasting, hoping to have them back end of the week, just need to decide wether I keep them raw aluminium with clear coat or paint them gunmetal grey/shadow chrome, then tires go on and an alignment. Very happy to have the car running smoothly again, with no more leaky injector thinning out my oil.

1 pointNot any pics of fun things to show at the moment but things are moving along nicely still. Decided to ditch the electric hydraulic power steering pump and throw on the VQ37 unit instead. Will be lighter overall, no electrical to faff with and gets me back to a 7pk belt as I could not find a shorty in the previously super short one. Dry sump tank is in a container somewhere between Tauranga port and Cardwell's Racing ... crossing fingers to get it this week First batch of custom colour Speedflow fittings should be here this week !! (returned the black ones) Working out the next (last?) batch of Speedflow fittings to order to cater for power steering and things which are not yet mounted in the car STILL waiting on the radiator !!! Latest is it will be manufactured August 1st ... then has to go in consolidated shipping, USA -> NZ Got the clutch line installed, bled and validated it actually functions to disengage the clutch !! Started a bit of planning for the heater and radiator lines Ordered the last Pro Sport gauge for crankcase vacuum, no idea where i will mount it yet. Made a hole in the brake booster for vacuum gauge that the Nissan ECU wants and ordered grommet plus valve fitting from BMW Got the fuel pump chooching and set pressure to the required 52 psi. No leaks Looked at PWM radiator fan control but decided I might just use a standard relay and control it via the Arduino since it will have the temperature from CAN anyhow. In writing the list it turns out there has been much thinking and research lately !! Must be time to get back into the exhaust soon also and get it to the first muffler !!

1 pointI think you're reading way to much into this...I think.. he just means the car was ordered without a sunroof, so it doesn't have one... which is IMHO unusual for an M3.

1 pointLSD is on its way, will be a couple months till it arrives from MFactory Europe, ended up being significantly cheaper ordering it from Mfactory Europe than locally. Bought a crank seal plate for peace of mind, didn't want to worry about belt getting sucked into engine, although I have replaced oil filter housing and oil cooler gaskets as well as a new belt, better safe than sorry. Went to install the crank seal plate, removed skid plate, fan, etc etc, and found a lot of oil all over the drive belt... a lot of oil, was getting splashed all over inlets and charge pipe. Appeared to be leaking from the OFHG again, despite having replaced this not too long ago. Installed the crank seal plate cleaned everything as best as I could and drove the car home. Came back the next day and it looked significantly worse again, decided to get the car towed, didn't want to risk shredding the belt, and began taking it apart last night. Replaced the oil filter housing gasket and oil cooler gasket again, all torqued to spec, hopefully it actually lasts a bit longer this time... not a fun job with all of the mess it makes. spent a lot of time trying to clean all of the oil up, removed all of the pulleys and the tensioner, cleaned them, still need to clean up the harmonic balancer and bottom of the engine. Then some fresh oil, coolant and need to swap an injector. r Very mysterious why it was leaking after such a short time, no bolts were loose or snapped gasket was seated fine when removed it, couldn't see anything obvious that was wrong with it.. quite frustrating, but lucky that I spotted it before the engine ate the belt.

1 pointWelcome (fellow F31 owner but filling from the black pump...) If you have the newer NBT EVO idrive (tile menu interface) it may be possible to activate carplay to run natively - 2016 was the changeover year for this so depends what month your car was built. @promo is definitely the person to speak to. Show us a picture when you get a chance

1 pointECU remap and catless downpipes (technically WOF fail) are probably the best ways to gain power for the money. @promo maybe able to help you out with maps

1 pointPicked up and installed the new backline taillights today, made a huge difference I think! left is new, right is old both done hoping to order LSD tomorrow, then onto getting wheels painted...
