Hmmm... Why does it look like a chinese ripoff of a Subaru XV with an extension sikaflexed on the back? The M performance version looks a bit Aliexpecial...

NZ new just means it's worn out and covered in stone chips.

BMW E36 Touring Have owned this wagon close to half a year, has served as a great daily driver, and perfect for road trips. Its a 318iA M43B18 automatic (avrg 300kms to half a tank). Registration until June 2023, currently no WOF Wagon comes with the following: -New front brake pads -New ABS front sensors -Purple tag steering rack (great upgrade) Overall the car is straight and tidy, few shopping trolly scratches, only area of clear coat peal is on the boot below number plate. Not too noticeable Heater and A/C all work. Full genuine Motorsport Body kit with M3 wing mirrors. Original BMW cassette radio. Genuine set of Motorsport DS1 sunflower wheels + matching spare wheel (x5 wheels). Central locking with alarm. Motorsport sill trims and steering wheel. Cons: Will need a wheel alignment for wof, and new brake pads (included with sale) ABS light is on dash, scanned and fault was the front sensors (included with sale). Drivers side electric window has came off the slider, will need to be adjusted. Not interested in trade deals PM for further details and to arrange a time to view. Located in Pukekohe. $6,800 or nearest offer.

Don't know if it is relevant or not, but where I have put the broken green line the achieved boost spiked more than 1psi higher than the target boost. Depending on what it takes to trigger an overboost reaction (% above target, duration etc) that might be enough ? It's almost like the wastegates or BOV are not reacting fast enough when the achieved boost reaches target. Wastegates are controlled by the DME so there will be some kind of PID control going on = tune function. Just guessing of course, but that is what I would expect. Cheers...

No expert myself, but learning a bit doing logs for a custom tune on hybrid turbos. Could be heaps of things going on. Tune parameters, fuel settings, aftermarket inlets, vac leaks. Really need to log a non track pull, in 3rd gear, manual mode, traction control off, 2k to 6.5k. Would look at a custom tune, with upgraded inlets, even with stock turbos, if tracking a bit, there are gains. MHD V10 2+ has a lot of issues ironed out and more flexibility, maybe try that.

Wouldn't it be more likely because it's CLAR platform? Isn't an M235i xDrive GC on the UKL platform (depending on options) 200-250kg lighter? I can't really think of any safety or driver aids that would add significant weight that haven't been in use for the last 20 years... Not being facetious, I genuinely can't think of any that aren't sensors / wiring / 1 million lines of code.

Did a self driving wine tour in Tuscany today driving a Bright Green Bambina ‘Cinquecento’. Absolute blast and felt like an genuine antique compared to the E30. No gauges aside the speedometer whatsoever, first is good to around 20kmh, 2nd maxes out at 40kmh but then drops you way out of the 3rd gear ‘powerband’. Still a hoot though and managed to avoid stalling at all 💪🏽 Only in Italy will they hire you a car then ply you with wine 🤣

Really wanting to buy a re-re Hotshot or Boomerang. A friend of mine had the original Hotshot when we were kids, it was a spaceship in comparison to the overpriced underpowered toys I had. Closest I got was a mini Boomerang which I assembled and promptly raced down the driveway across the road and under the neighbours reversing Lexus. 😁

I had a Boomerang as my first buggy. We got it on a trip to Singapore when i was College adged. Always wanted a Bigwig! The dual shock setup looked much better than the mono and I liked the flat dished wheels better too.

Filthy auto for 15k... You'd think if you are going to try go for higher end of the pricing, would at least give it a wash and a vacuum....
