Got the car back today after a mechanical birthday and have to say - I'm falling in love with it all over again. Foruntately for me, the gearbox was fine and it just needed a new clutch so got a few other things sorted as well and it is completely transformed: New LUK clutch kit and flywheel machined (the old generic heavy duty clutch lining was wrecked) Super stiff (I had assumed it was an E30 thing) accelerator cable cleaned and adjusted - will replace later in the year but 100x better already Valve cover leak and valves that were way out of spec adjusted Idle valve and throttle clean and some minor vacuum leaks sorted Everything cleaned off so any potential other leaks can be easily identified I never realised I was driving around a rough E30 but its another car now - nice light and responsive clutch and accelerator pedals, along with a far quieter idle and stronger, much smoother pull through the gears. Feels like its ready for another 400,000km and can't wait to give it some proper beans this weekend!

Hey guys, I've had a couple of 5 series Bmw in the past back in the UK, I had an E60 and an F10, both 525d's, after moving to NZ, I've spent a few years in a VW and an Audi A6, but I've been looking for a decent BMW for a while, I've finally sourced my favourite BMW, that I've been after for about 10 years! I pick up tomorrow my 2013 F06 640i in carbon black and I can't wait! It's a Japanese import so first job will be an Android auto upgrade to the infotainment! I look forward to being part of the community and asking questions. Thanks for having me.

Get Kodi and borrow a mates SkyGo details. Maybe pay some of their bill to cover it. There are no issues with shared accounts with Kodi + SkyGo. Too many subpar subscriptions in NZ to see the few shows that are worth watching. So glad Plex and Kodi are a thing.

I've got about 75 litres of home made, old-fashioned, all-molasses, cask strength Rum aging here... so my little Whisk(e)y collection sits soooo much longer in my 110 year old safe... because those guys give me too many silly ideas 🤣.

On a non car related tube channel, just got into whiskey tribe - didn't really need more of an excuse to want to collect beverages but why not.
