As per before, its a 525ee ETA model, Auto. I keep thinking about engine swapping it, but it drives so nice i cant do it, 98% of the time it just sits in my garage, I'd daily it if I didnt have a company car. It has aircon and all the bits, rides on BC gold coilovers, I also have full stock suspension that goes with the car, and the factory flares on the lips. the sunroof has some rust bubbles but I have new seal and was keeping my eye out for a good second hand sunroof Has fresh paint to get rid of the peel look. newish wof, about a month old, log reg... im not a kid, this is a clean car, but I want to swap a manual into my z4 and put and LSD in it so something has to go. Oh it has a amp sub and new headunit and speakers. Interior is clean and brown stripes, really cool old wagon. Im not really negotiable, but try your luck, $7500, that is in my opinion bloody cheap for a cool summer cruiser, everytime i take it out i end up getting into long chats with young and old.

Do you keep your car waxed? It wont remove any swirls but a good wax has fillers that will hide a lot of them.

They are camshaft position sensor fault codes. Get it checked professionally or throw money at it and replace both camshaft sensors and recheck. Is it just a code reader you are using or can it provide live data and clear fault codes and adaptions ? After replacing the sensors, fault codes AND adaptions MUST be cleared before starting and driving again. BTW Federation12 hasn't visited here since July 24, 2016

Heya, Wee bit of an update in the midst of all this wheel chat So after the whole weekend of tearing the front end and half the engine apart, spilling fluids all over the place, countless frustrations, glasses of wine and trips back and forth to Supercheap, finally the first new parts have gone back on the car in the form of the CCV system and all the hoses. Still some ways to go but feeling absolutely pumped to have broken the back of it to move onto the reassembly. Just chipping away at it in the evenings after work and will dig in properly over the weekend, hoping (somewhat optimistically) to get her back up and running before Christmas. Still got the VANOS to rebuild, thermostat, water pump, all new belts, pulleys, tensioners, radiator hoses etc to go on along with fresh fluids and spark plugs, with a top of cleaning inbetween it all. Exciting times, hope I haven't made a mess of anything in the process Will hopefully have more good news just around the corner. Cheers

It's possible, but I would just buy the polisher. https://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/p/toolpro-toolpro-dual-action-polisher-240v-720w-150mm/581559.html https://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/p/meguiars-meguiars-ultimate-compound---450ml/214309.html?cgid=SCN8005310

Huge shout out to @promo. The dealership wanted to take out my radio and install hardware to get NZ stations on my 525i import at quite a cost, but Promo was able to do it fast and at a excellent rate with his knowledge of coding without having to install or remove any hardware. Give him a shout if you need some coding done!

The vehicle he used as a recent sale comparison in his advert only sold for ~16k though.

Reserve was 50k, so auction was a complete waste of time.
