Spoke to the guys at Racer Products where I purchased them from, sent a couple of photos and the very next day got an email from them saying that replacement springs are on the way. Excellent customer service to be fair.

Have had some interest in my '332i' project, so will post up the details here on Bimmersport. This car started life as a 2003 330i m-sport sedan in black sapphire metallic and is being built into an 'M3 sedan'. While the car existed as a standard 330i, I replaced the seats and door cards with black leather units, and retrofitted an NBT from an F30: HellBM then removed the M54B30 and replaced it with an S54B32 & 6-speed manual gearbox: The VANOS was then 'bulletproofed' using the full Beisan kit, uprated cam gear bolts & S62 diaphragm springs, and the valves adjusted: I then rebuilt the donor M3 brake calipers; the front caliper pistons weren't in great shape and were replaced: Caliper carriers media blasted & painted: Calipers prepped & painted (Duplicolor gloss black): Next up was preparing the remaining M3 suspension and driveline components. New Bilstein PSS10 coilovers: Donor M3 subframe bushes removed: CMP Auto Engineering solid subframe bushes were chosen for this car, even though it's intended for street use. The reasoning is two-fold; no movement of the subframe against the RACP should help prevent any future cracking, and the bushes are designed to move the subframe closer to the body to account for reinforcement plates & the vehicle being lowered. The M3 LSD was cleaned, drained and the rear cover replaced: And reinstalled back into the subframe: Trailing arms disassembled, wheel bearings, balljoints replaced & Syncro Design Works monoball RTAB installed: Handbrake shoes & new springs installed: For the front, new CSL kingpins and wheel bearings were used: The old rear suspension & fuel tank were removed from the sedan: And the boot floor removed: No turning back now . A brand-new E46 M3 floor pan was purchased and the centre panel extracted: CMP Auto Engineering reinforcement kit installed: The decision was made to go the 'full way': Donor rear arches extracted & prepared: Test-fitting with M3 rear bumper: Tacked on & then welded fully: View from behind: M3 rear muffler brackets installed (pre-arches): The rear suspension & fuel system were then mostly reinstalled: ECS Tuning Monoball RSMs & reinforcement plates installed: And some more parts removed: A genuine M3 bonnet was then fitted. The guards will be created by joining both sedan and M3 guards: And that's it for now - more to come soon

No shipping unless you arrange, need these parts cleared out of my mechanics workshop, so Wellington city collection highly preferred ASAP. From 1983 E28 525i BMW M30B25 (yes, 2.5litre big six, which is a bit unusual). Has new injectors, disti, wiring, throttle body etc. Quite rattley as the cam is a bit worn, comes with everything pictured. $100 as I'm just looking for it gone. 3 Speed Auto box for M30 - from the engine above, now separated. The only thing interesting about this is it doesnt required any computer control, so maybe useful for someones project? Shifts smoothly - Free (or it goes to dump!) Other bits we dont need in my engine conversion any longer: Dual Mass Flywheel, think its from M54 or M52 (ie fits 6pot M5x engines). $50 - think thats all I paid for it, used from someone here. E36 (I think, see photos) Fenx Aluminium Radiator. $100 (think I paid $200, unused)

Hey! Does anybody know where I can get a pit of lower shock mints within NZ ASAP? 33526768544 I’m just about to start installing my coilovers and M3 control arms and I’ve realised that I missed the lower shock mount when I was ordering all of the replacement parts. Guess I’ll have to wait until next weekend now 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Much appreciated

The intent for this and the previous posts is only to correct what you have said about us. Here's the original post... Hi there, just want to clear up what Autoport.nz do. We are not just agents - we are full service RMVT so take full responsibility and risk under the CGA. Hope that helps.

Cheers, trying to get anything I have to deal with tidied up and refreshed on the way through ... turns out thats basically everything 🤣 Funny you mention the fuel pump as just today I got the new AEM filter installed and worked out where I will run the new fuel lines (Gates Barricade). This included mounting the fuel pressure regulator in the engine bay as I am converting the VQ to run a return system as per the BMW and not returnless like the Nissan. Got some colour matched paint on the inside of the boot where I've patched up the access holes for the top side reinforcing. Slowly moving towards getting the interior back in !!

Hey man i'd be interested in taking the M30 for parts, just don't have a way to transport it yet.

The rear is ok unless you are side on. Then the prolapse anus becomes apparent.

The latest tow hook design has a detachable ball head with flat plinth below to suit bike rack and can swap from 1'7/8" to 50mm as needed. This clips into the Westfalia detachable-type attachment. I assume it would be compatible with E series as well, the old swan neck type worked on both an E61 and my F31. I would give Fabian at Coombes Johnston Hamilton a call and see if this will work with your current towbar setup.

An old school mate of mine bought it. There's an instagram account for it https://instagram.com/raspym3?igshid=1nh9g5vk1o955

Just picking up on this thread as I am now sorting out a towbar for my E70X5. I have the Westphalia type detachable setup but I would prefer the removable tongue system for my bike carrier. That said I am also looking at roof racks. I do have option 233 increased towing and self leveling suspension so that seems good. Just a few questions. Any recomendations for where to buy a towbar setup? Where do I get one of those clamp on things to get a flat surface under BMW tow ball? What does option 233 actually give me?

As per forum rules - Advertising their business on Bimmersport. They have their own web-site, it’s linked at the start of this thread.

It's definitely firmer than a standard M3, but not uncomfortably so; no excess driveline noise in the cabin or anything of that nature. I've been meaning to update this thread for a while - recent (well, around a year ago now) additions include a CSL airbox (Karbonius). Some photos after a wash a while back:

Not a BMW, but pretty cool nonetheless

They are simply “agents” that take the adverts from Japanese and U.K. dealers, run them through a currency converter and add on their cut. Risk free for them as they don’t even own the stock and only buy it on your behalf when you commit. With the exchange rate the way it is at the moment the BMW pricing is way above what you could buy a better car for in NZ. Not sure about the JDM stuff, even with the exchange rate I would imagine the pricing is still reasonable.
