Ace. I'd start at $35k if it were mine. It's 3.0, probably important for people that can't recognise them. Is that a factory rear wing (i.e. installed before driving off the lot)? If so, that's an uber option! It's NZ registration is a mess... says it's a 3.2 when it's a 3.0, and it's a Coupe and Saloon... nice one BMW. 🙄 Lots of registration changes in 2017 which seem odd, 14 private owners? Original interior was not as it sits now, originally came with cloth/amaretta seats and wood trim so a complete swap. Also looks like the rear parcel tray has been redone so hopefully the headliner also. It's a great looking car, hope it gets lots of interest, GLWS!

Yep, and any company that commissions safety products and doesn't demand proof of safety is equally complicit, as are governments that allow the import and sale of such goods. From design to delivery the whole chain is at fault, not just one part of it.

I'm guilty of it myself occasionally but does everybody realise that referring to China in the way that this thread does is certifiably racist? Any country can make crap products and often quality control is a reflection of the demands put upon the manufacturer, not the capability of the manufacturer (or their staff). Apple's products are all made in China and are rarely considered poor quality (whether you think they suck or not). 🤔 NB: I'm anti-woke and don't think cultural (mis)appropriation is a thing, I'm just pointing at a turd and calling it sh*t.

I do agree though that TM could do with some additional transmission options, even 'Sequential/DCT' would be fine. However then of course anyone with flappy paddles would probably choose that option.

Are you including the leather in that sentiment? If so I agree. What I don't like is when all of the plastic or plasticised surfaces are different colours. I have Lotus White leather but all my plastics - dash, console, seat surrounds etc are black. Perfect for my taste.

Interesting, I certainly don't think it's worth that much. The SMG in these is pretty agricultural, it's a drag on value, not an enhancement. It has the absolute worst interior options ticked with a black over grey dash and white plastics, that's a hard no for me.

I think we must be talking at crossed purposes, I have no idea what you're referring to. I was meaning that being NZ new isn't going to make a lot of difference at the end of the day, that's all.

@duluth - at that many km's, if it's not covered in oil from leaks then it's probably been serviced well. As long as it sounds and drives okay the distance travelled wouldn't concern me too much but I'd want a professional opinion on the clutch at that distance. PDC is a bonus, I'd like it on mine tbh (but it looks ugly in the bumpers), lack of Xenons would be a hard 'no' for me, you can retrofit but at great expense. If you don't drive at night then it's no concern. If it has no iDrive and Business radio then it has sh*t audio. NZ New? Meh, without a full service history that's meaningless these days. Edit: and no cover for the front tow hook, I think they're prohibitively expensive. Edit, Edit: but $7k, as long as you can afford it. why not?

I haven't noticed any appreciable difference to be honest but it was easy to install... remove airbox, unbolt power steering fluid reservoir and move it out of the way, undo existing hardware, install new hardware... maybe 30 mins?

Installed my speed and cool stuff... fits fine, what it does remains to be seen.
