Stage 2 almost complete. Test driven -DSC working and coded. Spare tire well delete to be done next. Then install Agency Power Back Box.

Lots done in the last 48 hours. Removed all running gear/suspension from N42/auto powered touring. Stripped donor E46 M3 completely. Cut 1/4 panels and rear boot floor from M3. Installed S54 into the touring. AuxPump delete. Front suspension loaded in (bilsteins PSS10}. Keeping it badged as a 318i until the final stage (panel grafts & paint) is completed. I`ll let the pics speak for themselves.

Had a weak moment and offered my spare S62 for this dilemma ($6000).Nothing came of it. Thankfully that generous offer passed otherwise I`d be kicking myself when the time comes to use it in another Hellbm Project.

This is one hell of an upgrade. A very aggressive drive today on the backroads confirmed the new shift patterns. Love the snappy downshifts,the faster smoother upshifts and the 8000 rev limit - in all gears. Add to the list of changes:Dyno mode on and speed limit removal. The next DME`s to look at will have to be 6 spd manual MSS54 (M3 Touring project) and The S62`s MSS52. Very pleased to be involved in this as the test pilot with my cars as test vehicles. Flashed the SMG Module in the `HELLM3` with CSL Software and took it for a drive on the backroads of Dairy Flat. Freakin awesome in the wet.Feels smoother with quicker changes.

8M3 now has a soulmate that lives and breathes. Took it for a short test run. 90% complete.

The point of this exercise is to try and replicate the blue Touring that I posted the build thread on. That means the rear wheel arches and spare tyre well delete. It seems to be the only one around that has been done to this extent. There are a few S54 powered tourings around which is easy to do. We intend to make it only the second of its kind. Step 1 is getting it back on the road/reclomplied. Pics of M3 & Touring rear wheel arches
