That is a big sucker! What happens when you get a flat tyre?
-
A little basic but I bolted L shaped brackets to the sub box then cable tied these to the child seat mount brackets in the boot. This way I can easily remove the sub box to get at the spare wheel. L brackets were available at Mitre 10 in the fencing section I think.

I find myself liking it despite the colour... Only warning flag for me are the tyres - had a set on a previous car and the wet performance was very poor.

^ Sounds like you do this a bit...

Maybe it's the police version of holiday surcharge? I pay more at the cafe during public holidays too.
-
Not sure that's true. Policing is not just a service but a business - in order to self fund to an extent. I think they'd lay staff off if they didn't pull in a certain amount of revenue on the roads. They'd simply say the requirement for the current level of policing has dropped so less staff required. They would not divert that resource to other criminal avenues.

My car came with an after market alpine hu: cde-9850ri Now someone has gone to the trouble of installing it so that the steering wheel controls still work which is great. However the unit is pretty old and I'd like to replace it with something that does usb and bluetooth. I'm hoping, naively maybe, that I can plug and play a newer Alpine unit without messing about with connectors etc... I was thinking this - http://abtec.co.nz/Alpine_UTE_42EBT_1_Day_Mad_Deals_ Does anyone know for sure if the alpine connectors have changed? Anyone know how the steering wheel control adapters work? Yeah I know I should pull it and have a look but I don't have the alpine removal tools and don't want to mess it up trying screw drivers etc. Cheers in advance :-)

I like them. Wheels could be improved upon though.

If I was looking I'd go check it out. Lots of car for the money regardless of k's.

Saw it's sister yesterday at the euro club meet. Very similar colour.

Yeah should have been warm and cozy in it's garage.

Waaaaaay off topic, 4WD Van buying thoughts

Think you need professional help... I'd recommend a psychologist. -
You're mostly paying for the low k's on this example. Nothing else is really that special. Take it for a drive by all means and shop around.

^ Agree in part but for example my car could use a decent cut and I'd hate to stuff it!
