Start saving......is this the way of the future?..........

Thanks for the feedback jon dee. Sadly the government incentive discount structure announced yesterday, effective July 01, still leaves this writer significantly short of the funds required to sign up for a Rimac Nevera ☹️ But he is financial enough to invest in 500ml of Castrol R, and leave it opened in his garage workshop. 😁 -
There were at least 4 Z4M roadsters ex Japan imported into Christchurch last year 2007 / 2008 built and registered. All out of the BMW Japan network.

1600 GT? Very late 60's I think. Design concept Frua or Michelotti perhaps. Got to be Italian.

OK, sceptical😂

Great car well bought Rowan. Cars in this condition are only original once 🙂 Never mind throwing money into restoring a shabby car, they are not quite the same as the original when finished.

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
Bandit replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
Hmm I'll give your suggestion some thought, it has merit. But, what would I have to chuckle over while having breakfast? The daily post count would be significantly reduced. Just curious is there a prize at the end of each year for the user who has the most posts? -

Err that's "Patina" Olaf. Buzzword of the 21st century😉 -
Its only ever the cash difference to change. Irrespective if its property or a car, or a digger or whatever. The New Zealanders get sooo hung up on the figure they need to get for their car that this point is lost in the transaction.

Anecdotal experience from several high end workshops in Christchurch have suggested that it is best not used in VAG (thing VW, Lambo, Audi and Porsche) as it is affecting the fuel distribution system) and by association other brands too. And as previously mentioned prior the fuel company we worked with analyzed samples of the NPD 100 octane, the results from the labs showed ethanol contents varying from 8.2 to in excess of 10% by volume. Thirdly our we have been using it because, well, cost and our workshop team gave me a huge serve for doing so. And I guess, shoulda have known better😣

You can smell the ethanol. Because it is posted on the internet it may not necessarily be true Ask a BP rep. Try and use at your risk. Banned in Australia, think it may be modelled on a Gull recipe. Fuel retailer (retired) posting here.
-
10% ethanol plus a few other toxic chemicals to get to 100 octane. All the additives are banned worldwide, except here. Naturally. Loves rubber bits in your fuel system, moreso if the car is seldom driven. And boy do the exhaust fumes stink😁

Here you go, discuss please. Voted best performing chassis of the 1990's by anyone who mattered https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/3082890008?bof=YYhv0Iio

Holy thread resurrection here 😆

Yes, we bought two of those. Always been against car covers for the reasons Dave mentions above, but certainly the number of these sold to serious car guys with both fast road and race cars warranted a closer look. Like you we suffer a bit of a dust problem, coupled with little use over time. These ticked all the boxes. About the same cost as a couple of double bed sheets stitched together, but a bit more elegant, function over form sorta thing.

RB Solutions in Christchurch stock the autotechnica (Aussie brand stitched in China) indoor covers. email [email protected] or tel 03 337 0746. They have a trade me presence too I think. We bought a couple of covers the fit and finish is excellent. No affiliation other than a satisfied customer

Chaps, you are comparing a two door four seater touring car with a sports car in the 4M coupe. Hardly an apples with apples comparison. The Anders Warming flame surfacing design on the coupe is unquestionably superior here. As for the suspension shortfalls, easily dialed out on the coupe Moupe, forgive the pun. And for the front look, replace those black grilles with a set of the chrome surround originals for instant transformation.
