  2. Double dutch to me, what is a cas module? Key wanted also😑
  3. Over rated over priced and over here. The M2 in any configuration has never ever sold for a premium anywhere.
  4. Now have steering wheel, still looking for CD43 or similar.
  5. As per heading seeking CD43 or business RDS radio / audio system, and a three spoke sport style 370mm diameter steering wheel, slip ring and airbag to suit Sept 1993 build E36 M3. Tell us what you have please. Prefer a tidy radio unit, quite happy with a "scruffy" wheel suitable for a refurb. PM or call 029 777 4006, thanks for reading Bill
  6. Same for our M3 Koni Sport Paket suspenders, lost on 25th November. There really is a God!😀
  7. Known as the AC Schnitzer S3 or Silhouette. Team McMillan put the Hellrot car pictured in qube's post together in the early 90's, believe it included a ECU upgrade too. One previous keeper full BMW service history 90kms up now. Think there may have been four or five done,
  8. Its a very difficult time for everybody now, and there is no sign yet of the finishing posts. Not so many planes in the sky either 'cos no travel for touristy types. If the parcel slips off the tracking app its best to get on with the boxticking and form filling etc and move on smartly.
  9. Really Dave read what's posted I'm suggesting here that with a nice set of ITBs and a Carbon fibre airbox as produced by RHD in our own back yard this engine is surely worthy of consideration.
  10. At the risk of appearing a pedant, wiki motors reveals the weight of the engines we are discussing as being: S52B32 141 kg, M52B28 163kg and the common garden variety M54B30 as 163kg. We have left a hair on the table 3pedals.😉
  11. I think the entry point into this is "almost" sensible and as we have suggested a set of ITBs, linkages and complete with the lovely carbon fibre air box RHD produce it would produce the goods and a torque curve to match, after a spot of remapping. Its a good chance for someone to build a reliable engine at reasonable cost. Our American cousins love them, especially with FI now that's another ball game 3pedals........😉
  12. In a workshop not far from us sits a bored and stroked M20B25 bored and stroked to 3.1 litres and looking resplendent with a set of RHD ITB's from across the Tasman...............hmmm, the problem is no car to put it in (at the mo)😟 The M Power covers are widely available off shore guys about $300 back here last time we looked. 3pedals we think your assessment of this unit is more than a little harsh. It is an S engine and remember its torque not HP that wins races😁
  13. And that is because the tyres you are now selling are perfect fitment for the Z4M chassis and 224 wheels, going 234/45 at the front on a standard suspended car results in a rub on the inner. Pity you did the same dropping down to 35 section at the back. Hey ho these cars are a constant learning curve, actually thinking about it 10mm spacers on the front would have alleviated the problem., and allowed you to keep to the correct profiles 45 front 40 rear, and allowed the upsize to 235.
  14. Having used the services of FibreNew for years (and closely guarding the secret) we can only commend the firm. It is a franchise model I think, out of Canada, certainly all the "stuff" comes from there. Our local guy is a real wizzard, and nothing is a problem to him. We have had several wheels done, and yes the touch is a little rough at first perhaps, but before applying anything yourself, ask the guy who did it. If you are looking for a value for money investment in cleaning up the interior, or even the exterior (blacking of grilles, window frames etc) of your car make yourself known to the guy local to you. But please bear in mind the quality of the job is only as good as the operator, and that may vary area to area, so accordingly I post this with "no affiliation" other that a satisfied customer.
  15. No good asking us Kelvin, ask Trade Me. Oh wait, its almost impossible to speak to a person there, no one answers the phone and their much lauded "chat function" is about as useful as tits on a bull.😡
  16. A Mainland car recently squirrelled out of Christchurch. Number plate refers to the new owners age. Nice to see it out and about, will be a cherished car.
  17. Thanks for posting Graham, a walk down memory lane😧
  18. www. kleinanzeigen.de. Offshoot of Ebay germany, a proper a trading platform. Bit like trade me, and local only to Germany. Most posters answer promptly and politely, and speak good english. If not google translate is your friend
  19. kleinanzeigen is your friend here. And probably be prepared to wait for a courier service, as De went into lockdown on Christmas eve again. Recall a copy is being manufactured and marketed out of Malaysia. But two piece. Looked quite sharp, cost was effective at around $1K NZ a set. But not the real deal. Reckon on around Euro250 cost for a set of four using DHL Express and real quick. Usually😀
  20. Read my last sentence Blackie less than 5%
  21. Dare to disagree with your opening Driftit , the site is proving to be very special in a difficult niche market. The Americans, Europeans and English enthusiasts from all walks of life love it so ensuring the success it now enjoys. Even a few Kiwis bid on cars there, and I know of several that have crossed the seas and are now in NZ. Even the writer has bid on several Austin Healey's in particular a Lenhan spec bug eye sprite caught my eye. However have yet to put a mark on the scoreboard. One day😉 And your second last sentence is the point we have been trying to make, in perhaps an obscure way, and why BAT will be around for some time. Multiple bidders driving up the price, fantastic for the seller (and the watchers) To sell any car on TradeMe (of the type we are interested in on this forum) it is imperative to have more than one bidder to achieve a worthwhile result. All the forum bashing dialogue and nay saying just kills the car dead in the water.
  22. Probably the best and most widely respected online auction site today is Bring a Trailer (BAT) www.bringatrailer.com. Having been around since 2007, it has evolved into a fast paced benchmark operation, achieving fantastic results for both the happy vendor and even happier seller. The quality and diversity of the vehicles is a joy to view, as are the images and the listing details are replete with the cars information and beyond reproach. Unlike the bottom feeders that troll and comment on our poor relation Trade Me, the comments are for most parts, both articulate, and intelligent Now I am aware that some of the posters on this, our bmw site dislike BAT because of the "over sale" or excessive prices fetched for some of the cars, and we would take the opportunity to point out these are achieved because of the interest in that car, and the sheer quality and presentation of the listing has attracted multiple bidders. In other words the complete package of this particular online auction house has been seen to have produced a successfu result.. Winding up for today we would mention that whilst we detest the mess that is Trade Me in 2020, we have no hesitation in buying cars that we all enjoy through it either as an auction or negotiated purchase. But as a medium to sell motor cars whoa, no thanks😉 As Blackie inferred above, different strokes for different folks.
