  1. Sweet! When do you want to do the engine mounts and valve cover?
  2. This thread is starting to sound like Silicon Valley and that show stopped being funny very quickly too.
  3. I think I prefer my six year old to see someone else being a c*nt than watch his dad beat the living daylights out of a senior.
  4. Not in NZ! Here it means... Gun it, apparently.
  5. New radiator has landed in NZ! Whoop. Hope my eBay fluke (a 19.90 euro winning bid for a brand new Nissens E31 radiator) is as promised!!
  6. How deep are your pockets, Darren?
  7. This c**ksmoker who tailgated me all the way up Wellington Street, then sat on his horn when I didn't take off at the lights in under a millisecond. I slowed down to p*ss him off so he overtakes me on the motorway overpass then does a cop style blocking manoeuvre just so he can jump out of his cheap truck to eff and blind at me in his f*cking stubbies. My six year old was in the back crying. What a c*nt. Plus he was about 60. I'm not a violent man but driving in Auckland could change that. EDIT: had a good laugh when he missed the filter light on Pitt Street because a fattie was crossing too slowly.
  8. The rear rep has a slight unwanted curve. It's not awful and I've seen worse stock ones (when they've not been looked after) and is a big improvement over a half red wheel well. That said, the bow will bug me so I'll be keeping an eye open for a decent OE one.
  9. Sadly, was only driving it to drop into my mechanic for a combustion test. Possible headgasket leak. FML! EDIT: Am guessing where you mean by 'spaghetti junction'. Auckland's is a bit more this... Than this...
  10. Thanks. Sometimes common sense must prevail over aesthetics, eh?!
  11. Not sure why you'd want another lip? Not least because it would scrape on a leaf! I did fit the OE rubber strip along the bottom of the spoiler. It's about an inch wide and will hopefully give some protection (or early warning) from scrapes.
  12. And just picked up... OE front was easy to fit and fits beautifully, the rear rep not so much. Looks pretty good but I'll definitely be looking for an OE one in the future. The hooks on the rear bumper were all broken so the diffuser is glued. I'll take some pics of it when the glue has cured and the tape's off. Edit: And no problems navigating our drive. Sweet!
  13. Very, very cool. Makes me want to work on some flared guard designs for the 8er!! Phat!!
  14. More concerned about the engine overheating than a bit of mess TBH!
  15. Held back, I think. I don't mind short distances but I think any decent pressure and the old radiator tank will explode.
  16. Yep, all sorted. EDIT: Actually, not quite perfect but getting there. I think there is a headlight issue I need to work on before I can get it perfectly aligned, but it's way better than it was.
  17. Taking shape!! csi front on and managed to repurpose the standard license plate base... Rear diffuser will be be fitted by the end of the day, then I've got to start work adapting the E36 M3 mirrors I have while I'm still waiting on the new radiator Will take proper pics soon.
  18. Not sure. The ones I've seen for sale have been only for E31, E34 and E38 so guessing the E46 ones are different.
  19. Mike's the CAD man! Not much in it for him though now his e36 has moved on. Maybe he'll do it for coffees at our monthly catch ups?! E36, 34 and 31 all have identical slots, so there will be plenty of members who can benefit from a run of these.
  20. See below... Or it will have to be a long ramp with a gentle incline!
  21. I'm in and it needs to hold 2 tonnes of German muscle!! This ^ Would like ramps too for when I want to get underneath but no good when I want the wheels off!!!
