Might have to. Although even at standard height the csi front can be problematic because the bonnet is so long!

It'll be an absolute nightmare to reverse down but I guess I may have to learn!

She's at GDH panel shop while off road waiting for a new radiator. Cracked nose has been repaired and reinforced and the paint shop has just started priming. Bumper and csi spoiler and diffuser should be painted and fitted before the weekend. Saw a test fitting and I'm a bit concerned about how low it'll be... I've got a nasty steep drive. Eek.

Yep, my issue is getting the jack under the body. The rubber jack pads mean the gap there is now way too small for a standard jack. If I can hack up with the adapters I can then easily fit jack stands where the rubber pads are under the car.

Can't help with the fitment sorry but was wondering whether the cone filters will have some kind of enclosure around them. Otherwise, can't help thinking they will suck in a lot of warm engine air unlike the stock intake which is sealed and draws ducted cold air straight from the intakes.

I think the bar that fits in has a specific shape. Hard to fabricate without getting my hands on an original.

One of these (will also fit E36, E38, etc). Cheapest I can find is NZ$105 shipped but seems a lot for a little piece of metal.

E39 suspension, sport or non sport

If your car is a genuine 2001 motorsport it will have Msport II suspension. Best way to find part numbers is check against your VIN on realoem.com If you're looking for a drop then you'll have to go aftermarket. Personally, I think Msport II is perfect height on the E39. -
My E31's reasonably cheap for a nearly 25 year old car (but not the cheapest) and way cheaper than it used to be. Not many crashes because not many E31s!
