  1. I picked up one of these. Have had it for just under a year now and it's holding up well. Doesn't break a sweat lifting up the heavy M5. http://www.thetoolshed.co.nz/Products/Workshop/Lifting-Hydraulic/ToolShed-Trolley-Jack-3-5Ton
  2. Have you got the part # handy on the DME unit?
  3. No Sorry, just 4 x 2.25" press-bent mild pipes connected to 4 x 2.5" stainless steel long tips.
  4. Will have some available soon, pretty sure they are 2.5" in dia. But will double check tonight. As per pics, will also come with some mild steel piping that has been press-bent. Will take more pics when they come off the car. Asking $50.
  5. Can you give me the part numbers? I have a set of intake and exhaust cam sensors out of an e39 m5 that might be the same. They did not produce any error codes when they were installed so should help if they're the same.
  6. Definitely sienna red. Turns to a copper colour under direct light.
  7. Be interested to see how snappy your install of dis is. Running mine on an old stinkpad... core2 with 4g of ram. Admitantly I didn't try win7 32 but I did try it with win7 x64 with a fresh build using easydis. I lost patience and went with xp and the dis v44 image. If it's significantly quicker on win7 I will look in to rebuilding as xp fux me off...
  8. There is some misleading info on that bimmerfest link in regards to getting INPA and DIS setup. I spent a lot of hours using that as a guide and only got as far as getting INPA to run. I could never quite get the API test in DIS to pass. DIS v44 imo works best in conjunction with an early version of VMware (6.0) on an xp machine. Instead of building a VM and installing/configuring DIS to run I found an image which is pre-configured and just worked off the bat - No emulator needed to represent the yellow head (diaghead) adapter. Happy to assist anyone who is wanting to setup INPA and DIS v.44 on an xp machine. I looked at using DIS v57 but v44 was better suited to my car for Vanos diagnostics.
  9. Still waiting on a brand-new set of rear heat shields to arrive before the stock rear mufflers go back in. Once the mufflers go in, the car will be laid up for a few weeks to undergo a bit of maintenance. I removed the cover of the plenum and found a little more oil in the plenum than I'm used to. I removed the runner from cylinder # 5 and opened the throttle plate : As you can see it's quite oily in and around the throttle body so I while the plenum is off I'll do the following service : - replace oil separators along with ALL related hoses (The separators were cleaned last year and the large hoses were replaced) - Check all vacum hoses, replace any that are damaged. - Remove and send fuel injectors away for full servicing. - Clean the ICV - Remove all the oil build up from the throttle bodies, and fuel injector ports - When re-assembled run 2 cans of Subaru upper injector cleaner through the engine to clean carbon buildup from the exhaust valves - Reset adaption values
  10. That is one tidy looking E36! Good luck.
  11. Nice work! Will look pretty tough when the diffuser is on there.

  13. I highly recommend donotpostthiskindofshitonapublicforum street.
  14. Rear silencers now painted and ready for fitting :
  15. In the same environmental conditions, absolutely! The response and torque from 2k rpm onwards is greatly improved. This was the first thing I noticed when I uploaded the new sw. On the dyno, power doesn't dramatically tapper off like it used to at the top end of the rpm range.
  16. I'm really happy with it. Although the dyno results don't really show much of an improvement due to the environmental conditions, the on road experience is much improved, especially in the mid-range.
  17. The skate shoe on P. Love to own it one day.
  18. Next project for the M5 - Operation Neighbour friendly. Currently running no rear mufflers or cats, it's quite obnoxious for my liking. Scored a set of stock rear cans, which together with no cats should produce a nice V8 tone. The mufflers were water blasted previously so they will need to be re-painted with high-temp paint. Spent yesterday stripping the remaining pieces of paint off.
