  1. Very nice looking wagon Faizal. Welcome to the Bimmer family. The guys from Wellington and a few from out of town are having a bit of a cruise and meet. Check it out. http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/55305-cruise-museum/ Youd be more than welcome to come along.

Ah crap. At 10-12k for a repaint I'm guessing it is but at the same time hoping your not talking about the 850i... Jeez thats gotta suck.
  4. The color on the E39 is perfect. And dont they just look lovely sitting side by side.
  5. I have a M62B35 with all the modules that would go well in it...lol
  6. It was this sticker( seriously, this sticker^) that saved a few of us from missing the rest of the bimmersport crowd on the weekend. Left my ph at home so missed the txt saying the meeting place had changed.. Saw a tidy E30 with a Bimmersport sticker(see above) and knocked on his window. He was kind enough to tell me of the change of plans. If it wasn't for the sticker I might have just let him drive off without asking. Cheers Andrew for winding down your window. adding my name to the list of wanters..lol
  7. Not a huge fan of BMW designating every car and the owners dog as M and also not a huge fan of the size of some of the newer cars but DAMN I'd love that twin turbo V12 with all it's 600hp in my E38. Would certainly make for a fun drive..lol https://www.bmwcca.org/news/bmw-announces-v12-powered-2017-bmw-m760i
  8. I'll be hoping that the option you choose will have more kw/hp than the S38 from the original E34 M5.
  9. E34 with the S54 and 6 speed would be a awesome combo.
  10. Went to the Shannon car show in the 740i and met up with some of the Welly and Palmy guys. Then had a nice drive up the Saddle rd and a hoon on the way down..lol Awesome day. Thanks to Olaf for organizing.
  11. Is that an Individual plate on the left strut tower? Nice car with all the options. GLWS.
  12. I already know I'm gonna want this when it's finished..

I'll have a look thanks Andy. It has the typical run rough while cold then smooths out when warm symptoms. Really hope it turns out to be something simple. I'm not really wanting to look at the prices of the intake manifold gaskets just yet..lol

Vacuum leaks. And on the V12 so this could get expensive fast.
  16. ^^^ Yup.. lol I've always been a bit partial to this one.
  17. The 850i's used a 560 getrag but your chance's of finding one are pretty slim. Next option would be a 420g which is more than capable but I'm not sure if the fixed bellhousing could be adapted to the back of the V12? I'd also heard somewhere that there had been an adapter made for the Tremec 6 speed though I cant remember where.

I dont skin them. I pluck the fur. It's worth more plucked. less messy and your hawks dont have to worry about fur balls.. skip to about 3:55. https://youtu.be/rsT7kBiNB4Q?t=3m51s

^^^ I'm getting $110 a kg for the fur. 12 to 14 possums to a kg. I usually just keep in in a bag in the shed till I've got 4 or 5 kg then take it in. Nice little bit of pocket money..
  20. Thats really impressive Toby. What products did you use? I've got some Tan seats and I was thinking about changing the color on them to either Mocha or Cheerywood.

    Whats the offset on those?
  22. Wow, that was quick. But I could see why. It was stunning. Not a E30 guy but even I felt a twinge of WANT.
  23. Interesting. The auctions on my watchlist so it hasn't finished but all the questions and answers have vanished.

Did you get the remote oil filter sorted? I have one from a 735i you could have for the cost of shipping.
