Im keen to take everything you dont need, can pick it up one evening if that suits?I had a city T2 until a couple of years ago, awesome fun just dont have a crash in it !!! How are the eyes?

Most auto darkening helmets dont work with tig, but a $20 manual one with the right lens works sweet!! Thats all i use for tig, use the auto helmet for everything else. NEVER WELD WITH OUT A HELMET! Picked up the boot floor on Sat from you, is the purple t2 yours as well?

If you have a cert for the coilovers it will list the heights of the car for front and rear, that should be what the cops and the wof guys are checking! I believe it is the measurement from the centre of the wheel to the underside of the outer edge of the guard, but i could be wrong.

Sonds like a rain sensor, but there are a couple of different ones. Smith and smith got mine wrong when they did it, had to wait 2 weeks for one to come from Germany.

The servicing requirements were a full oil change (3 different fluids in the ayc diff) every 7000km!! You might not have had problems, but it probably wasnt working like it should have been!

Gearing, gearing, gearing!!! My Legnum VR4 would thrash my 540i up to about 100 kph, then run out of poke, the 540 goes all the way to 250. Roughly the same amount of power just put down very differently.

I put monroes on my 540i, totally ruined the handling!! First and last time i will buy them! It handled better on the original shocks and they had 270k on them and were totally knackered. Ring Stocks in Mt Wellington and price some KYBs.

You should check the thickness of the rotors, and if they are down around their minimum thickness put some new ones on. If they still have some life in them just give them a bit of a scuff with some 60 grit sandpaper, then a good clean and put them back on with new pads. Probably worth replacing your brake fluid while you are at it. Good luck

Retro Vehicle Enhancements (rve) can re-cover steering wheels, ive never used them but they do full leather interiors and are supposed to be pretty good.

They are the airlines for the rear airbags, shoulid be connected to a compressor that lives under the spare wheel.

If you were going M5 touring you would want to start with a v8 surely! E39 ute would be all kinds of awesome, e39 M5 ute would be truly epic!! Just putting it out there

If i read that right you haven't connected to the park light cicuit anywhere so i can't see why that would be overloading the fuse. Might pay to check all your lights, earths, switch etc and make sure there isnt another issue. Good luck, i hate chasing electrical gremlins!

Lose the impact driver!! Proper torx socket and a half inch breaker bar should do it, extend the handle with a pipe if you need to. Plus, eat more weetbix, and remember righty tighty, lefty loosey!

Needs to be a complete hid headlamp assembly, the reflectors are a different shape to suit hid bulbs. I failed a wof after doing a hid conversion because the ballasts were held in with cable ties and that wasnt "factory" even though i had the whole hid headlight units. I took it somewhere else and they gave it a wof.
