They have two 5W-40s, one LL04 and one LL01 I'm not really sure if price comes into it, it either meets the standard or it doesn't.

Practically brand new The last car I bought from Auckland had 10 year old tires on it.

I'd be keen to know what an Englishman considers a decent beer, that is made in NZ. Beer is one thing you lads really do do well.

Chief Chickasaw (spelling?) oils at Supersheep have an oil that I'm sure is LL04 and VW compatible. Bit cheaper than what you are quoting too, from memory

My biggest gripe of the month... what f**king wanker designed the top retaining pin of the E30 shift rod that goes to the gearbox and why does it have to be such a c**t to get out!?!

Looking to update my 1990 E30 stereo with something that doesn't look like a Mardi Gras disco party at night, so I picked up an Alpine BMW marked C33 off TradeMe. The only thing is, the Sony has one (quite large) input whereas the Alpine has 4. How do I make the E30 compatible with the Alpine? Am I going to have to chop up the nice tidy loom to separate the aerial input?

I see why the seats in the new 2 series look the way they do...

Msport is worth it for the suspension. Unless you never leave the city, then I'd suggest it's wasted on you

Tatra V8

Pulled old radio out of E30, got it going so I know the speakers etc are all working. Pulled front fender off ready to take to panel beaters. In the last week- got heater blower motor going. On the E39- new coolant hoses, waterpump, serpentine belt, transmission flush, trailer connection half wired in Oh yeah, new wiper blades for everyone too

Details updated, blower motor is all good now. Front guard is off, I'm going to look at getting it straightened out.

Price seems fair and it looks tidy enough. Get a pre purchase check if you aren't confident, otherwise all I'd be really concerned about is the age of the cooling system parts
