Subscribed.. Just a word to the wise, be realistic with your supply times on KickStarter. The three projects I have sponsored on there all went WELL over their time projections, and gee the people told them what they thought of that! Great to see a NZ project on there All the best.- 15 replies

I am starting to look at options to replace the company car, and am looking for sowething with a bit of get up and go Test drove a Focus ST, but found it too small, dark and heaps of torque steer. Other options include the 176kW Mondeo, but that is a bit old in the tooth and bland, or the new Skoda Octavia VRS. But then, after a bit of a look on Trademe, I have started to like the idea of a E91 Motorsport 335i Touring. What should I be looking out for with these ? Bulletproof or a ticking bomb ?? Personally I would rather a manual, but as the wife will be driving it too, looks like it will be the Auto / Paddle shift - what are these like for 'weekend runs' Thanks

I had a 1961 Holden EK wagon and then a 1962 Vauxhall PAX, both before I had my licence, but the first car I owned and drove daily was the same as this : Hard to believe I struggled to sell it to fund my S2 RX7 Should have kept both those Rotaries, worth moonbeams now

" One of seven right-hand drive 850CSi coupes (type EG92) built to non-UK specification " Now, that's rare !! Nice Car

Here Here !! I have 25yrs experience in repairs, and it bugs the bejeezes out of me when people ring for my 'advice' and then go on to say something random like " Oh, that can't be right, cause I saw xyz on the Internet' !!! Why did they ask for my experience if they were just going to totally disregard it !! Great to see Bimmersport getting back to what is is supposed to be for - I recently PMed one of the Moderators expressing my dismay at the slanging match this forum had started to become - well done Tom bringing this back to a great resource for all BMW owners.

When I had a project car, I had insurance through AMI that covered it for fire theft etc, but not for being on the road. Was cheap as chips.

Ah, why ?? If that is the one locked to Japanese Network, why not use it as a 64GB iPod Touch until the Jailbreaks come out ??? Wasteful

Love the after look. I hate when car yards cover every inch of a cars interior with shiny liquid There is a car on TradeMe at the moment that I am 80% keen on, but the photos show that it has had the shiny treatment, puts me off even going to look at it

My Brother took delivery of this yesterday afternoon. 2005 NZ New E60 M5 One owner - owner has upgraded to a new F10 M5 I am Jealous !! Quick Cellphone pic : BTW, does anybody know the best way to add iphone / ipod input to this ?? A quick Google suggests there is a BMW kit to put in place of the CD chnager in the Glovebox, but some worry that it only works on facelift cars ??

I know this is not car related, but I also know there are a few IT guys on here. I am after a working Samsung R40 laptop for a project I have on the go. It needs to be the model with IDE HDD, not the R40+ ( which has Sata ) Thanks for looking in your old laptop shelves !! Cheers Greg

Daylight Viewable LCD Monitor Recomendations

Yes, done a bit of research on this idea, but it seems most need to go thru a router first. Not ideal in a vehicle. Do you know of any that work on 'direct' wifi and run on 12volt ?
