Here's my recent invoice with tax on the gross amount: Edited for bigger pic.

What does steel have to do with it? I understand why they do it - to protect local business which is fair enough as we need local businesses to serve us when we need things in a hurry (thanks Gavin!). It annoys me that they include postage in the total price when calculating the taxable amount though.

Me too . When is the re-stock?

best SW piece I've read.

Have you bought another E30?

Absolutely love it. Filming location brings back memories

Nice, what steering rack are you using? The blue thing looks like..... an emergency window breaker?
-
I'll be the token guy with a slightly alternative opinion who thinks that the wheels could be smaller. Still love the the project though!

If this is the best issue you can give us then e30 ownership has been treating you very well Brett!

I drove one of these around south west aus one day and I'm sorry but it was f**king incredible. Oh and I think they look good from behind, the headlights are just a bit odd from the front. But from behind is where most of the seeing is done

Welcome Drew An alpine white 2-door is a great shell to start with, imagine the 2 litre 6 and the auto will get boring pretty quick though. From the tm photos the car looks nice and straight (ignoring the wheels and steering wheel). Any more details on what you have planned for it?
-
Can you put up a photo of it and measure the inner diameter at the end where it fits to the radiator? Thanks

I'm considering a sacrificial burning to make the E30 gods look on me favourably.

Teng make a 3/8th drive 1/2 metre extension that when paired with another extension and a UJ make the top starter bolt doable. Also, with the engine and gearbox mounts unbolted jack the front of the motor up (use a block of wood to spread the load) to open the gap between the gearbox and the tunnel and make it easier. Re. driveshaft, are you matching a G260 gearbox to a 260 driveshaft, or a 240 to a 240? Cause I'm pretty sure you need to as the 240 box is a little bit shorter than the 260. That could be your problem. Shortening and balancing will set you back $200-$250. Edit for typos.
