  1. They closed their doors last week. Have a freind up here with one of their twin turbo kits in an E46M3 (insane) HPF's own E46M3 twin turbo mule is for sale for US$40K. It only has just under 1000hp.
  2. Have had the same problem for a couple of years Dan.
  3. It lives and is running although not very well at the moment. Have a few jobs to do before certification but hope to have it all done and registered by the end of March. Haven't needed help from the boys, put the engine and box in myself in about an hour and have slowly bolted everything together around it. Lets know how you get on with Tony.
  4. Grab it Jon, you know you want it. This chap (Tony Ramlose) sold one to Peter Robinson which is now the green Michelin car.

    E30M3 Rebuild

Thanks Brent. Relays and fuses are good and engine is now running. It had to be cranked over to get fuel. Running rough at first with two sticky injectors - a couple of taps on each one and she is on four now although still quite rough as I have had the throttle bodies apart. They will need setting up by someone much more skilled than me.After such a long time there are the usual electrical gremlins but will work through them.
  6. Hi Guys After 3 long years the M3 is nearly ready to go - everything is in place but, I can't get the fuel pumps to run. There doesn't appear to be any power getting to the pumps at all. The fuse is ok and the relay appears to be ok also. This has been a major so it is possible something has been disconnected and I haven't spotted it. Something not earthed maybe?? Any ideas - your help appreciated. Cheers Bruce
  7. Yeah that's true, Ive got a race seat as well but that is in the blue car which is still in the panel beaters!$#%*& Major milestone reached with black car tonight - the engine and gearbox are now back in so not far to go.......
  8. Cheers Andy - I stand corrected but I still think it is a US spec car from Japan.
  9. Too many things done to this car - be wary! It's a US spec from Japan. Still has the horrible rear licence plate holders, they are really easy to remove. The interior retrim is definately not BMW and to be honest looks terrible, but some may like it. Would look good with a cage and a nice race seat in it Jon
  10. This is Gerry's car, he sold it to this chap earlier this year.
  11. The plate says it all - GLM-Good Luck mate!!!!!
  12. Chris, try selling it first. Have a troll through the Trademe listings and take an average price, then list it here and on Trademe. You never know, the right person my just be looking for your car.
  13. Road and Track converted the two EVO 2 NZ new cars, one red and the other Macau Blue. One of the factory RHD cars was recently sold to Hong Kong from Japan. I think the rumoured Denny Hulme car was actually converted in Australia. There are a lot of RHD M3's here in NZ. A few years ago a group of owners commissioned an engineering firm to make pinions to the correct ratio for them to fit to their RHD steering racks. From memory six pinions were made, so we have some RHD M3's running around with the factory ratio steering rack. A bit of trivia for you.
  14. Two NZ new M3's were converted here by a company in Rotorua. Both cars were EVO 2 one Red and one Macau Blue. The red one sold in Auckland last year and the blue example has resided up here for many years. There is also an EVO Sport that lives/lived in CHCH and i believe, was converted down there.
  15. Please advise the size of tyre eg 205/55.....
  16. Need a manual steering rack in good condition - no problem with just the rack as I have tie rods etc.
  17. Hi Josh. I'm having the same problem. Please change my race car to 320i and the main car to E36 328i. Cheers, Bruce
  18. Go and see Kayne Barrie, he supplies them. I have used them on the race cars the last few years and they are great.
  19. OWRCC members running!!! really Jon. Am happy to report that it wasn't any of us - way past our bed time............
  20. If those top mounts are genuine BMW then there is a two year warranty - check it out with the company you bought them from.
  21. Not at that price - we can do a full season on a set of BMW rotors for less than half the price of the the DBA rotors. They look good - how do they perform?
  22. This car is from Whangarei and has had a lady driver since imported - the SMG box has had recent work as well so should be good to go. It is a good car and has been well looked after.
