IMHO black wheels work well on light coloured cars or on dark if your going for a stealth look.. Shadow Chrome would look good.

Mate, you did an awesome job! The car was actually quite filthy in the pictures as I hadn’t cleaned it for two months!! Gave her a Carnauba coat on the weekend and got stuck into the weaves with some polish and wax and she’s looking great! Will have to steal the rest of the shots off ya one day for private use

Love that GT2 Green coloured M3 and that drop front is awesome Togate. My all time Favourite has to be the DTM/WTC M3, only because I idolised this car as a kid and it still looks awesome today.

I was under the impression the 6-Speed was a Getrag, if its anything like the six speed Getrag in the Supra as it should handle BIG Power! Either engine will have its issues turbo charging, im sure there are a few on here that can help you out. One would think the 3.0 is a better base if you don’t plan on gutting too much of the stock internals. Does the Evo run Canbus? Welcome to Bimmersport.

Yep, know of a wanker person who is the same, they must have re charged their tired old battery 20 times to save money on a new battery, im sure half the faults are due to low vaults. Hmm that rimes.. Low vaults lots of faults..

.. it is a cool party trick, impresses people with non Euro’s. Novelty is still there for me even after 10 years. It’s called total closure, has been on most euros for over well over 10 years now. Old VW’s, Audi’s and even Opel’s do it also only owners often don’t realise. It works with the rain sensors on newer cars.

Didn’t know Holden did a 3.6 with a supercharger, only a 3.8. Unless it’s a 2.5/8 with a Supercharger and the kit calculates the added power/torque equates to the same as what a NA 3.6 would have. I have heard similar claims before. Interesting none the less, you don’t have to call him a dick, just ask him to pop the hood

Good to see you have it sorted, when niggles happen on modern cars with advanced systems like the E60 has it can be quite worrying, especially when they are out of warranty. I won’t ask what a Alternator cost ya. Interesting, is this the same on older cars? I often idle the E30 for 15 minutes if I haven’t driven it that week in the hope it was recharging the battery.
