just got this in today 86 jap import 1 owner in japan and 1 owner in NZ 113,000km quite tidy and original condition LHD , switchable auto (not working ,no drive at all) black leather recaro sport seats, mtec wheel. cruise control A/C , obc etc engine sounds sweet , tidy boot , full tool kit etc. i think its a full cat spec model, like usa has also funny rounded faced headlights?? and sticky out front corner lights?? just need to fix the trans. or maybe 5spd conversion. m88 and 5spd and or RHD conversion?? anyone done a rhd conversion on these , i have a late 82 635csi 5spd parts car. but looks like a lot of work to do, wipers , dash , pedals , mirror switch , abs pump ,wiring & control box etc. anyway ,will see how it goes , might just fix the trans and be done with it.

have just got this e34 535ia in ex australia . pretty mint car , just has rear damage has a mint 3.5l m30 engine $950 only done 81,000km nice tight engine nice zf trans 4hp22 sports type $800 medium case 3.91 LSD sport leather seats mint head linning , all panels except boot lid

heater soliniods valves get stuck . pull them apart and clean and check them or replace them. make sure you have 12volts going to them when set at cold with engine on first.

have another 2000 318ci shell that will be stripped down soon.has a bit more rhs front inner wing and strut tower damage though. also have a 2000 sedan 320d 5spd shell coming soon

sticky lifter , change the oil run some engine flush stuff through it . then add some lifter quietner to it with new oil.

yes you can swap the non vanos into a vanos car . most early vanos 325i dont have ews anyway. worst case is you bypass the starter wires that go though the ews box might be able to help with coupe or sedan shell , or a subframe etc etc thanks brent
