  1. Our 97 didnt have Airbags at all... but it wasn't a motorsport either..
  2. Far right is a stud hanger, used to help put wheels on, chuck it in the top hole of your hub, slot the wheel on to it, let it hang there while you put in 2 studs, pull it out through the wheel... Saves you swinging the wheel round and round trying to line up the studs.

    Andrews E30 Sedan

    You can't "finish" an E30
  4. Loaded up to the roof? Yeah that would've been me, on my way to Hamilton. Love how the traffics so light that early in the morning. Sorry, saw many E30s that day but I don't remember yours..
  5. Hb man, as mentioned previously... do a skid ow.
  6. What sort of area was it stolen from?
  7. Last i checked yours wasnt a 540i either
  8. Tappets is very very common, but more so with the 2.0 and 2.5L engines.. The 1.8 should have hydraulic lifters, and therefore you cannot manually adjust them. There are additives you can get which fix them temporarily however..

    E30 M325i plz

I LOL'd. But completely understand the sentiment! Unless its a racecar, cos then I'd rather have evidence of it's ability first .
  10. Same here, had it on all day! Musics a bit old for me, but I am certainly liking a MTV channel that isn't all lame american TV shows all day, with a little music in the ads.
  11. Pics of car they are going on?

    E30 M325i plz

I have a friend in Auckland who has been thinking about getting rid of his m325i for a while.. Except theres a catch, it came from factory with the bodykit delete option Came with an "is" lip instead. But as far as I know it is still a genuine M325i, coupe, black, LSD, Pommie Import (MPH speedo), tech2 wheel/gearknob etc... Can ask him more if you want, but probably not the best as it only ticks the colour/coupe boxes and not the tech2 Oh and needs a new bonnet cos some fat git sat on it
  14. Yup, unfortunately the boot is full of tools in case the damn thing breaks down when i'm up there . The TV had to go haha, but still managed to fit most my bedroom in there, my hockey gear and even an ironing board . I did leave the drivers seat free though
  15. They look like big dirty whiskers in a place where big dirty whiskers dont belong. Very tacky IMHO.
  16. Loaded it up ready to go to Hamilton on Friday. It is sitting loooow. And pretty fricken crowded, even though I dropped plenty off my list when I realised it wasn't gonna fit.
  17. I've been telling her that for 3 years. Good luck. She just changed us from a zoned system back to a fixed rate, gave me $30 more a week . You've got it good out there though, smaller delivery area then us and some of the best management. Chris is the man. We have Vanessa running our store now (Amandas lackey)
  18. Dominos Porirua. Well up til thursday last week at least haha. Should also do somewhere between 8 or 9 on the open road. My subaru legacy rs twin turbo did the exact same fuel mileage as the E30 does However the E30 is tonnes cheaper to fix!! And more reliable too . Also, if the hotcell starts on the floor it cant end up on the floor upside down .
  19. Mine uses about 11-12, to give you an idea how it should be running. Thats a 1985 320i, and running mostly city driving (Pizza Delivery), doing 500+kms a week, consistently averaging the same. Thats a mix of 5th gear cruising, and a decent bit of thrashing cos I'm the quickest driver and damn proud of it! (Not speeding, just agressive acceleration lol). Definitely sounds like something is wrong.
  20. WindowMagic in Porirua has a good reputation, but is also on the pricey side because of this.. Used to be known as "TintMagic".
  21. I always thought it had a little hint of E30 in it
  22. Location might help narrow it down for ya
