And thats why a lot of educated owners prefer a high KM car that has receipts for those parts being replaced, rather than an unknown "low KM" import. KM isnt everything. Condition > KM.

Drove it for the first time in 3 weeks. Gave it an italian tune up. Still brings a grin to my face.

woah double standards up in here, if this was the buyer posting half you guys would be all "wah wah go ask for your money back" like the last thread. Hes probably one of those awful people that rides the clutch to hold the car at intersections, overheating the clutch plate. Clutches take time to bed in, and will slip during bed in if treated badly, but 1000km should be enough to bed it in. You sold it in the condition it was test driven in. If he didnt inspect it properly, its his problem.

Picked up a new reverse light switch so the M3 can pass its warrant next month. Woo

As mentioned, first step is to degrease the sh*t out of it, there is so much oil residue there its almost impossible to tell which way its been travelling.

In the second to last pic, i think the black connector on the RHS by the bolt is the exhaust cam sensor, and from that pic it looks like a lot of oil residue around it? hard to tell, shame you didnt have a pic of that part of the head with the fan and shroud out. E: oh, and you should totally go back to the seller and rip them a new one for selling such a dodgy car to you

That other one on TM doesnt look anywhere near as tidy as this one (and IIRC has a non-M5 front bumper on it)

Vin decoder confirms its a jap import auto, and although it has sport seats and suspension its not a full motorsport model.
