  1. I'm impressed that you can boost an m50 for that price. Have you done something for the crank case ventilation?
  2. When i had my fuel gauge stop working a while ago the wire had come off at the sensor inside the tank. There's a picture in my project thread. Not sure that yours will be that.
  3. +1 Didn't realise 325's had the battery in the front What injectors did you end up using? What is the supercharger being run off? Just a longer belt that links off the standard belt drive? It's quite impressive When is the video coming? Have you done something for the crank case ventilation
  4. if my diy roller turns out bad i'll be getting in contact
  5. 'as is where is' Plenty of e36's sell at stupid cheap prices
  6. I believe they go by 'bad boy' bonnets. Don't think there is any company that makes them. Would maybe be a bit iffy on if they are legal or not. Talk to certifier.
  7. Bentley manual has the best one. Chilton manual is ok. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=311638
  8. Depending on how low you want to go and how much money you have. Really low normally means shorter shocks are needed and cert Buy some of my lowering springs http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....mp;#entry415881
  9. I'm sure sweetm3 means polyurethane not polymer. From all my lurking it seems marine grease is mentioned a lot. Early m3's use the same swaybar bushes as a 316. And later use the same as e34 518. I'm not so sure about 3pedals comment
  10. You should at least get a quote for getting the msport bumper repaired. If your just tossing it i'll have it
  11. The supercharger will not take 33% throughout the rev range. Where does 33% come from? i've seen it written before. The pressure difference before and after the sc will determine the work needed to rotate the sc. Internal friction of the sc will add to this Has the ecu been chipped to suit the extra .3L's?
  12. you'll need to factor in the superchargers efficiency into that equation as well. But as everyone is starting to say your going to need to sort out a way to tune it. I forgot to ask what ecu it is currently running on?
  13. I just replaced the crankshaft seal(not sure of correct term) and the pilot bearing at the back
  14. Do you have a compressor map for the sc14? i can't seem to find one.
  15. For your first calculation you should multiply by the volumetric efficiency at the given rpm as well. Will add more when i'm more alive

  17. Sorry i'm not much help with the pulley. What size are you wanting? Are you mounting it in place of the ac or up by the intake? Is it a non vanos head on the block? or what (or where) did you get the valve springs from? Sounds like a sweet car. I don't think the sc14 is the best idea though. I'd looked into this awhile ago and they would be so far from efficient. There's a merc m62 on trademe that is bigger and would be more suitable. But even that is still on the small side for a 2.8
  18. why did he lift the throttle? you've still got more power to come. that's a huge improvement. Is this the rebuilt engine? or just tuning for the longer runners
  19. All depends on the condition of the engine. Pistons, rings and a hone might be all you need. While it's apart i'm sure you'll find if you need anything else. Plus you'll want to change the headgaskets, studs, and the usual bits. Not sure if these blocks are anything like the alloy 6 cylinder blocks strength wise. If they are you should probably helicoil the block
  20. I assume by the racecar statement that the rego has expired?
  21. eibachs $250 for bimmersporters untill someone has bid H&R's Milltek exhaust Teal springs $70 for bimmersporters untill someone has bid
