turbo to fuel tank

Bit fiddly to pull it without taking off the whole intake. Not overly hard to do http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showt...d.php?t=1292847 I haven't read the link but i'm sure it'll have something.
-
Guess s/he wasn't happy with the price it was going at. That's a lot of car for $12000
-
I'll send you mine on monday. New is a really really expensive. http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/ksearc...;FILTER_BMWM=ON i'd hate to think what bmw will charge for it. It's cheaper (and better in my opinion) to go for an aftermarket one

Just like the 6 cylinders some suspension parts are known to be quite worn when they get up in the k's. Rear control arm bushes, rear shock mounts and front control arm bushes are the most comman Rubber seals in the windows and door handles die. Not Cooling systems have problems. Not sure of the specifics on the 4 cylinders You'll be able to find all the parts at http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/index.htm. Theres plenty of stuff in NZ as well.

Can the pull the ring gear off your old and put it onto the new? Or get a starter gear (or whole starter) that will mesh with the 240mm flywheel Otherwise good luck with the sale
-
I'm sure these should be able to fit. Starter is the same, pilot bearing is the same, release bearing is the same, clutch fork is the same, slave cylinder was the same up till 99 and the other will still fit, master cylinder is the same, 323's came out with the 240mm flywheel and clutch stuff up till the end of 95. They used the same gearbox up untill 97 edit: should also say the getrag 250 was still used on the later e36's. Only problem could be that the newer getrags didn't allow for 240mm gear. This i doubt though

Breaker bar with long pipe hanging off the end should do the trick. If that doesn't work put the jack under the pipe and have someone sit on the corner of the car. And the usual crc and the crc freezing stuff helps You must be good at pulling out the rear subframe by now Which throwout bearing is it? from what i've read everyone uses http://realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?part=21511204525 Search LouieD on bimmerforums he's got a pretty good write-up just can't find thee link atm

E39 523i M52B25 Cam/Crank Position Sensor (Car won't start!)
thorburn replied to lukep88's topic in Electrical system
What does CAS stand for?crank ange or cam sngle sensor Have you confirmed which sensor is faulty? If you unplug the cam angle sensor the car should still run fine. The ecu will default into wasted spark and batch injection. If it is getting a bad signal you could get the conditions you are seeing. A faulty crank angle sensor could also do the same. Do bmw check these in real time with an oscilloscope or is it all done with the obd stuff Edit: sorry for repeating whats all ready been said -

Welcome I've got soo much to ask Why are you using the ls2 coil packs over the factory? Do you have any photo's of the dry sump setup? Where does the alternator fit in? Did you make the single throttle before the supercharger? why have another throttle in front? What actually is the engine? from the looks of it it's some sort of non vanos m50/52 with s50 throttles Awesome car and thank you for taking the time to share it.
-
Love it. I remember having stacks of parts like that. Keep up the good work I'll be copying your oil cooler idea.
-
Wont you have problems with the magnetic clutch if you ditch the sc14's pulley? I suppose you could run a bypass valve that's closed at whenever you may choose What revs do you get to full boost? What rpm are you spinning the sc at atm? to dark for me to measure my crank pulley I'd be happy with 3.5psi

Thank you very much Paul. Last thing i want to hear about is debt collectors after the last experience
-
I'm going to need to call up somewhere that does rego's tomorrow to double check.
-
Cheers Brent and polley. So who's right? The owner wants the change of ownership done before i take the car. So i should only be paying for how long it takes me to get a warrant? hopefully
-
I'm looking at buying a car that's had the rego lapsed for the last 6 months. Is it just a matter of getting a warrant and paying for those 6 months? Is it the same cost as the usual 6 month rego? Otherwise if i was to part it out, do i hand in the rego and plates and forget about all money owed?

I'm impressed that you can boost an m50 for that price. Have you done something for the crank case ventilation?

WHERE IS "CONNECTOR C" ON A 94 e36 325i
thorburn replied to GerryAttrick's topic in Electrical system
When i had my fuel gauge stop working a while ago the wire had come off at the sensor inside the tank. There's a picture in my project thread. Not sure that yours will be that. -
+1 Didn't realise 325's had the battery in the front What injectors did you end up using? What is the supercharger being run off? Just a longer belt that links off the standard belt drive? It's quite impressive When is the video coming? Have you done something for the crank case ventilation
