Single owner NZ new. Full service history. All the bells and whistles. Heads up display, bigger msport brakes, motorsport bodykit, heated seats, etc. Was mainly used for trips to Tauranga and Rotorua. Has developed an issue with the camera based driver assistant system. (KAFAS) Adaptive cruise control, auto headlights, lane assist are effected. Car still runs and drives fine. Currently sorting repair. Will sell cheaper not repaired Has some minor curbing, some stone chips on the front bumper(very minimal) Listing on behalf of my Dad. Has just had a pre purchase inspection done by Coombes Johnston bmw. Happy to send a copy. Can be viewed in Hamilton. https://www.trademe.co.nz/4758143269

1. Depends how you want to do the crank case ventilation. Think the only other part is the throttle body. 2. I think I've swapped and changed willy nilly. M3 filter housing fits both so surely should work. 3. Sorta depends on how close it comes to the plastic and gasket. Which turbo, manifold and downpipe are you going with. I haven't got a working turbo e36 so I'm just keyboard bashing Are you wanting the m50 loom because you've got a pnp standalone that needs it?

420g has different size input shafts for the e36 and e46

I'm in the same boat with needing a 6 bolt driveshaft back half. The back half cv joint is the same as what a few other bmws use. One example is an e53 diesel. From memory it's just a little too long.

I've got kilmat saved in my bookmarks from long ago. Seems to have good reviews. Unsure how economical it is vs dynamat nowadays

Will someone tell him he's dreaming or should I?

What's wrong with having the clutch fan? Doesn't hurt anyone to ask for that money. Someone might decide its worth that much to them. -
If you want a locked diff, I'm sure you know the answer to that. If you want a clutch type lsd mfactory, drexler, there's a bmw motorsport lsd on fb currently as well. It depends how much it is worth to you

I'd suggest talking to the experts before splashing out with racing diffs. Their after sales support is useless. Their guides are equally as bad. You might get lucky and have it fit without modification.

What width and offset? And which rc 090, 302 etc?

Gets a "pops and bangs tune" and "straight pipe" wonders why car is sh*t. Replace that junk. Call it a life lesson

Gotta make sure they're flat faced wheels if you are redrilling. Have you had a look at arrow wheels for some custom nz made wheels

I've got a genuine low rise wing as per above. If you aren't look to spend too much money there are aliexpress options

I've tried this path with an e36. The problem was that cast steel trailing arm that mounts the shock. The shock mounted in single shear was never meant to take the full load. Yes there are plenty of people doing it overseas. But that wasn't the sort of evidence they wanted. Much easier to go separate. Also easier to change springs.

Foolish maybe. I'll try Google educate myself as much as possible before diving too deep. Does the fuel pump/rail have a mechanical pressure relief in these?

I had seen their forum. Wasn't sure if I wanted to fork out $25usd for a forum that isn't very active.

Thanks all. I was hoping to find some software that has the ability to adjust smoke limit, fuel pressure, injection time, injection mass, boost pressure etc. I feel I'm just missing a few key words in my Google searches to find what I'm looking for. Before anyone gets worried, I am aware of the risks associated with this. I do appreciate all the plan b options for getting someone else to tune it. Hadn't looked into galletto so will have a look.

I've got a diesel e53 that I'd some day like to get some more power out of. From my brief Google search the only thing I've found is winols. I haven't delved into it yet. But it seems I'll need to learn a fair bit before even getting started (unless the maps are easily found) Is there any other software that's more defined? Don't mind spending the money. Ultimately I'll probably end up paying someone to do it, but still interested in learning what options are out there
