  1. Bavarian made one for the race series - its really well done. I'll search for the thread. Edit: Here
  2. Hah - wonder if they'd do us a group buy? I don't expect to have much more news for you all before the new year - I highly doubt I'll get a response from my letters this year, but stay posted.

    MY 320i E30

I like it, and although I like the clean bootlid look, I think yours would look good with the techII spoiler - make it look beefier/tougher. Where'd you get the clear indicators. I need new ones.

    Turbo For M10

Search. There is a tonne of info our there to answer your questions. Talk to your mechanic. Do your own research.
  5. Donate it to the paddock cause for next years northland meet!
  6. Thanks for the support. Like most of these sorts of things, a planned strategy is more effective than going at it ad hoc. Once I have a response from the minister should have a much clearer way forward. Stay tuned.
  7. Interesting opinion of the MoT adviser re- plate adapter lol. A written letter to Stephen Joyce cc John Carter will be on its way soon.

    1988 E30 Touring

Hot. Will look even better with plates on the front. My plates are held on with the aforementioned tape. not looking forward to getting them off if I'm forced to - german plates. Have done it before and you have to panel beat the plate back into shape afterward - doesn't damage your paint though.

HB Tony. Some feral rubber burning in the e46 to celebrate??
  11. That would have been mint taking delivery of something like that when it was brand new top of the line.

    Thanks

Since we're talking vectras and mondeos, and this is a bmw forum....
  13. That's the one. You earn a fish. PM me address. BTW have spoken to vendor. Not the green one, and if you are going to buy an m5 that has been converted to RHD then this one may as well be it. Havn't seen the car but sounds tidy. Why's that?
  14. www.bmwclub.co.nz marketplace $15k and $16.5k.
  15. OK, so I emailed them. Good day, Am I correct in saying that licensys is the official manufacturer for license plates in new zealand? If so, am I able to order a remanufacture of my existing plate directly through licensys? Even if I require a different style to my current plate (eg Red/Euro, etc)? Thankyou in advance. So there you go. $400 to plates because they feel like it, and $32.50 to Licensys to actually make the things. And no you can't deal direct with Licensys - I guess its to prevent people getting lots of duplicate plates made for several similar vehicles and only paying a single rego fee. Loophole closed before it opened.
  16. While we're on the topic, M3's like this one in OK, but not stunning cond. have fallen $5-8k in the last 6 months.
  17. A chocolate fish to whoever finds the old thread. Seriously.
  18. If it's the replica, then I would believe $35k. The stories I've heard about what they did. They basically started with a chassis and built an m5 using genuine parts. (Not all new parts though). Then again, Chinese whispers may be at work, who can say?
