  1. And that's a good note to end on I think. Sorry guys but I'm killing this as I think the guy might be for real and we all know where its going. It was funny for awhile, but when people start getting upset its time to pack up the toys. I have PM'd the OP about forum rules and etiquette.
  2. I wonder if they put the m logo on the bonnet backwards so it works in peoples rear vision mirrors, or if they just f**ked up?
  3. Why do you have to ruin the fun Glenn?
  4. No, but there's a rumour that George Michael is looking for a "mistress" on the side if you're keen.

    New Z4

Maybe I read it wrong, but I thought they meant for the first time in the z4 range as other BMW models (and almost every other high-end automobile manufacturer) has their own version of this and has had for ages.
  6. Since when have women been able to navigate? Almost all the women I know wouldn't know a map from an etch-o-sketch. The only difference is, women stop to ask directions. Men don't get lost - they just sometimes don't take the most direct route. I'm not arguing that Santa's reindeer are female. I just question the validity of the other comment. Please advise.

    New Z4

I think I'm going to like it in time. Lines are not as taut as the outgoing model, but it looks hot with the roof up, and that interior is the best I've seen in a BMW for a long, long, long time. Hate the new naming convention - sDrive35i - how gay.
  8. Lol I highly doubt that. Sounds as though at least one member on this site got his license out of a cereal packet. Thread closed. Going nowhere. If you want to read a debate about speeding do a search - there's a new thread on the subject every 6 months.
  9. They look terrible in the doors on e30.
  10. That'd be my first guess. You can save alot of time and money by just going to an auto sparky and paying them to run their test gear on your vehicle - will be cheaper than buying $$$ of new parts to find out you havn't fixed the problem.
  11. 6.5's usually require removal or cutting of the trim panel, and sometimes slight cutting of the bonnet pull. Not hard, just takes more time.
  12. Badass. Although I forsee geeks around the world sending out their R2D2 webcam drones for up-skirt reconnaissance missions.
  13. Basic rule of thumb - all 6cyl gearboxes are interchangeable. A 320 manual conversion is bolt-up to a 325. Some slight differences between f/l and pre f/l - gearboxes are still bolt up, but you need a driveshaft bearing hanger from the f/l, etc. And if you have a pre f/l car you make life much easier by getting a pre f/l box. If you have a f/l car, then any box will do. (It's to do with mounts for sensors on pre f/l cars). Also need the driveshaft from the gearbox you are putting in as they are all different lengths. Easy to do.
  14. I'm pretty sure that was the old system, and now everyone gets a ticket.
  15. Your dealer friend must either be mistaken or importing a NEW car:
  16. Something about red e28's......
  17. Sweet. Some jackass in an e32 was up my arse from Hatfields to Waiwera (where I used the passing lane to put a couple of cars between me and the whale - no offence), and I was hoping to vent my road rage lol. The driver turned off at Warkworth towards sandspit. Hope you get your car sorted mate. Good luck!
  18. OK, so the vendor of the cragars doesn't know sh*t from clay, and his idea of FWD offset is like ET15, so we can't fit them and we got him to take them back with refund. Soooooo, back on the hunt. Would like anything similar in a FWD offset, and in a 7" or narrower (preferably 6") (yes, old school datsuns suck for wide tires).
  19. 6x9's are the devil. Were you driving to sandspit in the rain on Tuesday at about midday, 1pm-ish?
