None of them run map software that is compatible with NZ's routable map sources. Wouldnt look at them if you want GPS to work.

You have the main cost for the s50 out of the road. just warning you getting the brakes and headers to fit require lots of hidden costs. The more OEM gear you have the better. Also the more you can do yourself the better! There are many solutions to the problems you will face with it. If you have most of everything such as EWS/computer and key, radiator, clutch/flywheel setup and gearbox it wont be so bad. Engine mounts use e28 m5 ones. As suggested before, get the mintest body / kit you can and the body version (mtech1 or 2 ) you can. I would go for a facelift car as you dont have to do as much around the wiring and fuel pump side of things. You will not regret this conversion .. the power in an e30 is incredible.

Sweet! yeah Im finding that with my diff sitting at 3000rpm @ 100kph and im just not use to it .. the 330 sits at around 2000 rpm @ 100. In other news I took mine to the rev limiter today .. it wheel span 1st, most of the way through 2nd and long chirped 3rd. The clutch I have is AWESOME fresh tank of gas made a massive difference up in the higher rpm.

I wouldnt even really warrent half those comments with an awnser. It read like a youtube US highway drag 'kill' video where it ends up tangenting off into some convo about where it would be faster than a veyron or not. People like that are usually going through puberty and got their internet connection for christmas.
