ok issues have been looked at ... Server date was wrong yesterday .. this would have caused most of the problems. the stopping and starting this morning was a network disk thing. please post if you have any more issues from now on .. this all should be fixed now

The other problem is cracking in the disc or as glen says .. sh*t pads. I had this problem on my old toyota celica. Cheap pads will defanitly cause the rubbing on concrete style sound.

Changed servers to the new 32core mofo last night .. Will have cliff check the permissioning.

Its a ex show car ... One thing to remember is that show cars are obviously not modded the same as normal vehicles. have seen this car around for some time. good on him for running it and getting some where with it. not my cup of tea however.

dude .. I feel your pain .. I've had this happen twice last year :/ and the exact same things nicked! As for the leather damage you insurance company should cover it .. get a qoute from retro vehicle enhancments they are about the only people I know that do an A++ job on retrimming. Its a popular thing for apartments to be done over unfortunitly. And the body corps idea of a securiy door is usually just those trashey cheap alloy gates that you can pop off buy applying pressur in the middle of the door

just one more thing on top of this ... I think we are going to look at banning / highly moderating these TM witch hunts .. as the admin / mod crew are infact getting pretty sick of them. it is sometime cheaper paying that extra money for the m-sport ... as it is expensive trying to do the body kit on an e46 afterwards. your looking at about 2k per bumper shell + plus mounting hardware and 350 for the side skirts + paint and prep.

The most recent is the '05 one however... News from Hotwire: They should have something out in May/June ... '08 update. Seems pressure from a few people buying BMWs new in NZ with sat nav has finally got BMW NZ into gear to "Gold disk" the new map version which will include all new road alignments etc etc.. Other countries enjoy yearly updates ... its actually really annouying NZ BMW is _still_ not up the play with this. hanging out myself for this too

thanks ... interesting ... Sometimes i really hate being the first going through all these e46 gotchyas. The problem(s) have been like this for 2 odd years. The door lock / unlock problem has started happening after a ECU / GPU software upgrade. Went back to BMW they said you have an after market alarm .. its their problem.

nah dude ... I saw a cayenne turbo jump on the motorway onramp after going around a 90 degree bend at about 80kph .. didnt break traction .. it just was the fastest thing i've seen in a while. hehe Supercar like handling even. Things have come a long way from the Ford Explorer days.

Wouldn't touch AVS ever again ... e46 is having/had a nightmares with their flagship 9000 unit .. doors lock and wont unlock randomly .. gets very embarassing asking passengers sometimes to climb in the drivers door. It wont interface with the side markers. Tilt sensor kept setting off the cell phone texting and the alarm. More on a budget kiwi made items for non compeditive prices. Swapping to Mongoose map80 asap. Its even half the price!

Look wise its perfect (have seen it in person) Its pretty much the same setup as my e46 profile wise vs wheel. You cant get the stance / look with old man tires boys

This car has a lot more than that spent on it to bring it up to mint true showroom standard. Its not for your average buyer. Its more for the collectors market. Seeing as also its the only one in NZ and as the NZ law states probably will be:) its pretty cheap. The jerry claytons diamond swartz 'rhd converted' m3 wants 85k and its no where near as mint. (while still in excellent condition) You just have to stop seeing it as just another m3.

M20B25 -> '86 M325I e30 = 361,692 ks No smoke / blue white or other wise. Original gearbox. Still looks as good as it goes erm this will be changing soon however
