headliner is $800+GST ex germany, but that was before E34 went onto "classic" pricing. Probably still some stupid thing. The front door rubbers are the same as sedan for sure, the rear ones are different (touring ones about 1-2" longer than sedan, you can use sedan, but come away abit at the 90 degree bend by the rearmost part of the opening, if that makes sense). There is also another rubber piece that goes along the bottom of the door, visible from the outside of the vehicle when door closed, could also be that, it goes missing on quite a few E34s

yup its good, i have been watching some of them the last few nights, actually one on a 911 just before seeing this post!
-
Looks like you have made your decision so thats good! for the 90 minutes or however long the rugby lasts I'm sure it will be fine had a look at them on the system at work today, looks like they came out in 2006 so could be up to that age, hope its on its second bulb.
-
better post the sort of style you are looking at before i can vote. haha
-
Yes, also age of the bulb is important, it might have done 600 hours but if the bulb is 6 years old and/or hasnt been used for a year or so, then it can pop anyways. Actually its just like a timing belt on a car! Also, very easy to change the bulb timer on a projector no matter the model as well, replacing the bulb doesn't always happen when the timer gets reset I dont get much Epson gear come in so cant comment on this exact model though sorry.

before i was born ha. thats great! you want sugar mate? No. Well just dont stir it Read some of Barry Crumps books when i was younger, they are quite good

maybe you can retrofit a South African tank into it and have the auxiliary tank that goes behind the rear passengers seat in the boot, the boot then has a false back. mind you an E30 boot is small enough as it is.. you will be able to get where you want to go but not take any of your sh*t haha

back ones bolt straight in. For the front, there is a sleeve you need to get welded onto an E34 strut. Use a V8 strut because they have a bigger hub aparently. As for the welding and lining them up etc, I got the guy at TTT Auto Engineering, just off Dominion Road on one of the side streets about one or two shops back from the corner iirc, up in Auckland to do them for me. The cert guy recommended them or maybe it was Lance, cant remember I should say on the topic of TTT, I got absolutely phenominal service from them too, way beyond what i would expect. I had flights up on a Saturday morning and was flying back that night, only flights i could get. He opened shop on the saturday so i could pick them up, and then when i got them back to the car all the way down in Drury, realised the bracket for the sway bar wasnt put back on right. ring him up and he was already at the beach for the day with his family, but went back to the shop so i could meet him there, and he sorted it out in front of me. You will need to get them crack tested as well, SGS Labs can do that. They have branches all over New Zealand

Hands down best commercial is for the worlds most boring car. there was one about 10 years ago for the new Corolla boosting through town and all the other non-toyota cars pulling out of thier parks and following it and then the Corolla flicks away and then they all drive off the cliff. Quite good. but I haven't owned TV for about 3 or 4 years now so may be better ones lol Edit: oh i found it, hmm not so good 15 years on haha also found this which was good

Same. and subscribe to Fatso

Yes Jeff Gray are very reasonable for most non-maintence type parts like clips etc. $60 for a pair of E30 wiper blades etc though,a joke on routine stuff
-
Thanks that would be good. I may or may not know of a vert that needs some inspiration Yes Im OCD on the badge in general. You have it on there, may as well have it on there right!
-
looks good mate. Would like to see a picture square on to the back with the tech 1 spoiler if you have one? In anycase looks really good! think your front M badge needs to come down two rungs in the grill so its dead in the centre, otherwise perfect
-
i got some 15" RE001s here very good tread on them still if needed

Life is much simpler when you dont own a TV

for the booster, whatever people say works for LHD cars works for RHD. I used a Porsche 944 Booster which is a direct bolt in swap, i might have had to shorten the rod i think, but easy to doe etc. Plenty of options, various VW boosters are the most common. the stock M20 headers wont fit on the M5x engine, so you need to get some custom made up. Noone sells RHD M5x swap headers that i know of. I used stock OBD2 type headers, and had them cut and welded etc to fit around the steering linkage. From there I had custom made exhaust made right back, but you could adapt it to then mate up to a stock E30 325i M20 exhaust im sure. but you will probably want to de-cat, and change the restrictive back box, so might as well just do the whole thing custom imo. to make it run, either solution will work. When i did my conversion noone was doing flashes for OBD2 DMEs at the time that i could find so you either HAD to run OBD1, or make the EWS work some way. im sure some people were doing flashes at the time i just couldnt find them. but thats the way ill be doing it next time around

-
Man arent you younger than me? you must be loaded or is it financed?
-
its on XYZ Adjustible coilovers. very pleased with them. all E34 "boatieness" is disappeared and 17" AC Schnitzer type 2
-
they used to have little atom bomb shaped things and you put the cap on the end, the end would be weighted so would hit the ground first with the weight behind it, one hell of a bang, you could throw them up and make them land 20 or 30 meters away etc next to some unsuspecting person ha great fun. Wish I was 10 again.
-
fixed that. Absolute bastards. They had a go at stealing my wagon about 4 weeks ago, and managed to actually steal my friends car (though we found it)
