  1. as long as there is evidence car is up to date on maintenance you should be fine. recommend putting in some race brake fluid and checking condtion of the pads though, if you intend racing it. E30s have pretty sub-par brakes at the best of times
  2. yes, swap an E36 one on there, that has the main sump bit at at the back. you will need the pickup and dipstick tube and dipstick as well. i think Michael (antil33t) was looking for an E34 setup not sure if he sorted it, also maybe John (e30ftw)
  3. Try this DriverPack Solution Visit My Website we have the Pay one, unlimited uses etc at work, haven't tried thier free download but should be ok.
  4. no can do. whole rear panel would have to be cut off and a facelift ass welded on the car.
  5. always said bor-bay myself but i just found out Thule is said "Tool-ey" today, not, well, "thool" lol
  6. Im 80% sure thats a Zender body kit?? but i havent seen one in real life so not 100% not one of the common ones anyways
  7. as long its a name brand you cant go wrong with oil really. I only use Penrite or Castrol personally. dont use red stamp/repco brand/etc
  8. maybe its still on your email server??? or contact the crowd that made it (probably chinese?) if no luck we use a CD wizard thing that sorts out hard to find drivers, just texted one of the guys hopefully tell you what its called shortly..
  9. i doubt they would do that when they have just realeased another version of the PS3, would be very bad PR
  10. guys, want a PS3, anyone got one? Rather buy from someone i "know" than some random on trademe preferably a low milage, one lady owner example cant justify buying new for a the small handfull of games i want, im not really a gamer lol.
  11. wow didnt know Surfs could do that, i always thought the roof was fixed! learn something everyday /OT GLWS
  12. you know BMWs have lug nuts right? the thread is on the nut. or maybe the later models are a conventional setup i dont know, if it is: we just got exactly this done on the front right wheel on the work Ford Mondeo which is FWD, was $40 excluding the part which we sourced from Ford. that was at PitStop.
  13. i won't ask what your doing, it will spoil the suspence, i cant wait to see how you make it run!
  14. went to pickapart today only got one and its got rust so it stayed there. so still looking for a calypsot one. might head into JK Southern Euro if noone got one for me already painted.
  15. i can appreciate a tastefull one, but the e39 isnt for me. That said, I have been very impressed with Mark (1rottys) E39 540i Manual when ive been in that, seem to be quite a big step up from the E34, especially when you compare E28 to E34, which is more refined but essentially the same package between the two cars
  16. is that why the old owner decided to sell huh! thats really bad
  17. that will be a big weight off your mind! Congrats reaching the end of the road (for now as it always is ha)
  18. yes thats right. but my Hiace is NZ new, and 1994, and its never had one. same as my econovan i used to have that was a 1998. maybe commercials are different. in anycase i know its suppossed to have one. thats not what the thread is about. Cheers
  19. yes, but that said, my hiace also doesnt have a high stop from new, etc etc. I certainly am aware of that. im planning to come up with a more descrete one in behind the rear seats or something, can look at that when i get a garage. will be keeping the bootlid thats on there anyway so i can put it back on later down the track anyway, so not too bothered, only four bolts to swap (then a few hours spent trying to get it to line up again)
  20. If you go down that route of making up an adaptor etc, ill most likely be keen to meet you half way on costs where possible etc keep it down a bit. I (probably like you) refuse to pay the $3500 for a genuine one thats madness.
  21. unplug the ecu, or remove the positive lead from the battery, wait a few minutes and then put it back together, now see what happens
