oh really you will want a G260 box after all ha. i think it will be a later gearbox beause it has the facelift/later shifter mechanism on it and i dont recall that being able to be bolted to an early box? you can get sets. the most common is probably the H&R cup kit, but the shocks it comes with are sh*t. i have them and upgraded to bilsteins, so running the cup springs with bilstein sport shocks. im not sure if the cup springs are available seperatly, but they are supposedly the best (havent driven on H&Rs though so cant quote experience)

holy f__k! i would also like to know who thats with!? Im insured with Club auto and i pay a quarter of that, i still think im getting ripped off lol i know the work thats gone into the car, but is it really a 10k car? i mean.. if you crashed bashed and assh-led it, you would be able to recoup your costs by removing the seats and cage and (possibly) diff and gearbox etc in it? might be something to think about? i dont know much about pricing of these items so i could be wrong, but yeah 2c from me lol

carefully, and you will proably break it. i slide mine all the way forward, lift the back slide the opposite way, and repeat till its off. to put it back remove the clips and slide them into the plastic. any other way ive tried i seem to break them, they are realy weak

did you put the driveshaft and guibo etc back together properly? does out put of the gearbox spin? does it feel like the gearbox goes into gear or will the shifter not move as far forward as it used to? when my linkage was shot i had the keep some pressure toward the lever to the left as i moved it in and out of gears to try battle the worn bushes
