some of you on here know i was looking at doing it to my V12, it even has ports there you could use. is much more compact than a supercharger/turbocharger or two as well. It does make sence for the reasons above. the most common argument for the downside is if you are on the go juice all the time you have to keep filling the tank up. I guess the people that say that also don't put petrol in thier car???????

im not sure if i am happy about that post or not, and im sure your no different!!!!!
-
Oh yes, would drive 750iL looking good too! E38 is honestly the only 7er i have ever liked, and i know i am now alone
-
I use Bahco, have had my main set for about 6-7 years now, all the bits also available individually for replacing stuff I also have a Repco Trade card so i can get it for you if needed.

the trouble with a convertible is that regardless of make or model, storage for weekend bags etc is pathetic. Surely a wagon makes the most sence? BMW do make good wagons

Yes all Certified, Rego and WOF although technically the suspension height is lower than whats on the cert plate now, but got a wheel alignment after it went to the height its at now, and last two WOFs its flown through at VTNZ, both times the guy just said look i know what your gunna do, and also took into account current wheel alignment so he just passed it. its only a half hour or so to wind all four corners up, i will have to do that and take it for another alignment before it goes to next owner, just so my concience is clear if anything happend

Updated link now as a shortcut. Pretty funny that the Mondeo I also have listed has been up for about 2 or 3 weeks has about a third of the views my V12 has had in 2 hours haha.

Ohhhhh it hurts a bit! Been uhmming and aaaahhing for a fair maybe a year or so.... Just listed my E34 V12 Touring up on the old TradeMe I kinda want to build another E30, and my old man and I want to get a Land Rover so could use some change But i like this car, so no real rush to sell, but think its priced fairly competitvely? $10k ono All details are there, probably dont need to repost again here! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=769910695 Any feedback on price or listing is most welcome!

My E34 trans gets warm some times, though it tends to be unrelated if its cruising or going for a fun run
-
no, someone ended up taking the whole E34 engine away, offered me a price i couldnt say no

N2O injection doesnt need to be on cert plate, the car is still naturally aspirated, and besides, N2O injection is legal to posses, but illegal to use0 in New Zealand, just like Laser Jammers edit: to use on the road i should say

M20s are worth changing the timing belt on them anyways, and a fairly simple job with basic tools, nothing special required. Waterpumps are dirt cheap and need to be done at the same time on this engine, so looks like you are going to do that anyways. Could be a lot of things though Blocked radiator Blocked other hoses 100% water and no coolant Air in the system i strongly suggest you do not drive the car, if you absolutely have to, make sure you have the interior heater on full hot and fan full tit to at least shed some of the heat.....

not trying to be a funny guy, but is that from putting it into drive after revving it up in neutral or something along those lines? or maybe putting it into drive while still rolling backwards??? or??

Put new fuel pumps in my V12 E34 yesterday. Took it to work today because my van is getting fixed (again) Took my boss for a ride, and then it died. Very embarassing, as he has been interested in the project from day 1 knew straight away it was fuel lines back to front, have done the same thing once before. Swapped them over and away it goes again, happy as Larry Boring Techy bit for those interested: Basically there are two fuel pumps, one for each bank. so the DME for each bank controls its own pump, But when the hoses are back to front, it controls the pump for the other bank, so of course if one side needs a bit more gas than the other (happens more than you would think), it sends the signal to pump gas, but that gas ends up going to the other side, overfuelling/flooding it. THe DME for that bank cuts back and then ends up starving the first one that actually requesting more, of course this means a very slow peeter out and then die. (Think of it a bit like feedback from a stereo when you put microphone too close etc.)

you can buy EDC shocks for it or retrofit non-EDC ones in, if available for your year. you may need to do some re-coding or you will have an error on your dash coming up all the time etc.
-
lol also guilty, V12s dont like fluctuating revs anyways
-
Just texted Ian, he is looking for one, maybe you can PM him, http://bimmersport.co.nz/user/259-hartage/
-
you will probably find they were mostly 528i Manuals they used with M5 kits on them anyways, a lot cheaper to overlay a V8 soundtrack over the top than find and crash good M5s
-
Please dont be offended... but if you didnt already know that your car doesnt have front CVs and can therefore rule it out before posting here or asking BMW, i suggest that you give you car to a proper mechanic that knows what they are doing

tried BNT? Also discount available there if you are a BMWCCNZ member

Have had about 3000 PM's on here, and about the same enquiries on trademe for the master cylinder from the 750iL you guys know im parting. Good upgrade for E30s, especially M5x swapped ones running a smaller booster than factory so up for a dollar, go get at it http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=768508068&ed=true
