Gotta rhetorical question for ya. If you had a low km NZ new blue M3 with leather interior, would you sell it for 12-15k??

My car doesn't get out to see any of its other family members very often, what with not being a daily driver, & living in the country. (It did enjoy the Tui day lots!! ) Imagine what a little blue bundle of happiness it was in the weekend, when the sister-in-law turned up to stay with 'The Slug' - (hey, her name for it, not mine, but who am I to argue....) Even convinced the German bowl licker to pose as well. Bizmarck (Bizzy) is not a big German car fan, as when it comes outa the shed, means he ain't going for a ride on ute.......car likes him lots though primarily because he doesn't do nasty things to its wheels!! Might be my first BMW, but he's my 4th Shepherd - gotta be the world's most awesome breed of dog IMO...........

That's ugly!! Any chance the council will do something about it?? Even another grate the same, welded to the top of that would probably make a huge difference?? I'd ask council, given they'll be holding their hand out for your rates money now.........any standard car wouldn't like that as an obstacle too much IMO. Like ya say though, if they don't want to do anything about, I'd be turning it upside down too, under the cover of darkness sorta thing....... Ya need a 4WD to deal with that..........not something that has a delicate precision front end from Germany.........

Yea, but doesn't matter what its spec is / how koool the pics are - its still a 318................ Which in my book, is 200 less mistakes than a 316...........

I do cash, or bank transfer too........................that's it, no correspondence entered into on it. Last time I took a cheque, I was living in Central Otago, & this retarded gimp from Balclutha brought a motorbike off me, yes on a personal cheque, went home with my bike, cancelled the cheque, & then 5 days later when I found out from my bank, renegotiated the price......... I've never taken a cheque since.............& I usually take a copy of their licence / rego number of their other vehicle as well, so if theres ANY grief after the transaction, they can be hunted to the end of the earth............ Edit - And I buy / sell vehicles / bikes etc fairly regulary, with no hassles since the above. I always describe accurately, & I tend to say something is a piece of $hit, sold as is, where is, what ya see is what ya get sorta thing, rather than 'flowering it up', & I buy on the same merits - keeps it simple.......

Hmm, I can see where you're coming from with this. In theory, so long as you're using the original seat belts, the vehicle has no airbags aft of the B pillar, & any child restraint 'bolts' go into approved areas, I can't see a reason why you'd have hassles with it personally. As you mention, best to hit up your WOF guy though. Tis a good idea though.....
