Greg is good too. Looked after my 320d back when I was working in Hamilton.

CJ in Hamilton (especially) are very good. Pro-active, won't sell you a line. Fabian in parts is one of the best.

Manufacturers want new market niches. There's one!

It's one of the BMW concepts that didn't get to production. Raise the bonnet line and it's a 2-door X5 soft top.

Hanna was excellent. A second season is in the works, but it's hard to see how that'll improve, or eve continue, the story. Still, something to look forward to. Next up - Boardwalk Empire. An older series, but well-regarded and a visual treat for anyone who like Art Deco.

Replaced the bootlid on Miss M's E46. Having managed to find one the right colour, it was a shame that the PO had taken shears to all the wiring, but never mind - fed the existing wiring through all the boot cavities. Doesn't fit perfectly, but it's pretty close. and looks a lot better than the original one

Watched 4 episodes of Hanna yesterday evening. Will probably watch more tonight. Great series.

I do like a Z4!

It could easily be that Gavin, who runs EuroItalian, is as locked down as the rest of us and possibly not trading at present. Always worth trying to contact him, though. Ph (09) 444-9817 | email Euro-Italian Car Parts Ltd

Preparing to repel boarders when things go really wrong! (As opposed to just a little bit, like now...)

And the presidunce is talking of relaxing stay-at-home reqs in order to boost business. Bear in mind that's in a country where uninsured ill people go bankrupt with medical bills.

That's a nice-looking ML. (y)

I'd give it a try! ? ? I drove a VW Transporter with a similar engine and 4wd for a while. Great van. The Phaeton engine and driveline probably isn't all that different to the Amarok or Toureg. Just a lot more comfortable.

? I had forgotten rust. Cool. The question was for her young self, Miss M. I think she has inherited her father's itchy car gene - the desire to try something else. I'll try to persuade her that as a student the funds aren't avaialble to do that. Besides, I've just bought new brake pads for her car...

Because fewer cylinders, less complexity and maintenance cost, simpler, newer car?

Real quick one. Given the choice, which is a better car to own? Taking into account reliability, comfort, running cost, suitability for home maintenance... (Performance and purchase price are not a consideration.) 2001 BMW E46 318i (M43B19) 1994 BMW E34 520i (M52B20)

I've bought hubs from Gavin at Euro Italian (a forum sponsor). He's north of Auckland and we're in Central Hawke's Bay but delivery has always been next day. Not quite so helpful if ordering on a Friday. ? Try Jon at Auto38 - see if he can help?
