Looking great Frank. What ended up happening with the tv commercial?

    Gull 98

@325_driver it would be certainly interesting to learn from someone in the know as there are so many myths around. How does it differ from what the other fuel manufacturers offer?

    Air compressors

    Yes, I'm happy too.
  6. That theory doesn't work as CL wont win the mayoralty - he can only help Goffs chances. Voting CL helps Goff win by splitting the JT vote. So again, you only have two choices Goff or JT. Its like voting for a new party in the general election thinking they can beat both National and Labour and run the country.
  7. Its a wasted vote, as the Mayoralty is a two horse race. A vote for him splits the JT vote, so helps Goff get another term. If you want Goff just vote for Goff. If you dont want Goff, then dont split the vote and vote for JT.

    Gull 98

I've been running gull 98 in all my beemers for years with no issues. I did a test and used BP 98 for several tanks in a row but noticed no difference except to my wallet so switched back to gull.
  9. Yea I came accross this today aswell. I wonder why the cam chains are at the back? It cant be weight distribution I wouldnt think.
  10. The m60 and m62 internals are pretty strong stock, and will handle over 500hp without any issues. There are guys running 600hp without issues on stock internals, but I imagine that is pushing it. Stock internals will handle 14psi which is more than most superchargers are capable of supplying. The only thing to consider is to increase the ring gaps on forced induction engines.

    N46B20

To be honest I don't know, but there are some very knowledgeable people on this board who probably will. I didn't encounter any codes when I swapped the head on my n46b20. Was the fault there before you rebuilt the head? What parts did you actually change? I presume valve stem seals/chain/chain guides etc? Also what scanner are you using as the higher spec scanners are alot more accurate and better at isolating faults.

    N46B20

I've rebuilt one of these, but didnt get any codes. Im presuming you used the cam locking tools? And hopefully you didnt polish the inlet side of the head as that will decrease performance.
  13. Did you notice any performance difference with the x pipe? Headers look great.
  14. Ah, that explains it then. What was the main issue with the integrated design?
  15. What brand is the radiator? I dont know why more aftermarket manufacturers dont combine the overflow bottle in the radiator on e36's.
  16. Still keen to know the paint code
  17. I'm interested. I'll take them.
  18. Every man and his dog is looking for a 420g with v8 bellhousing. Best way to do it would be to ship one in from overseas. It will still work out cheaper than buying one in nz - if you can find one that is.
  19. Have you got a link to this e30? I cant find it on trademe
  20. There should be a good gain in power. The Dinan headers are dyno'd at 45 more hp on the s62 engine, and the Jedders unicorn headers are dyno'd at 65 more hp on the s62 engine. Especially with your supercharger, this will really allow it to breath. My understanding is the exhaust is the bottleneck on the m60/m62/s62 engines.
  21. Thanks for that. It means all photos are available for all to view, instead of just in messages. Thats the way I will have to do it - just wondering if there was a better solution.
  22. Go for a zf. Do it once, do it right.

    E46 Boot Lid

Probably cheaper to just replace unless the damage is very minor. Just make sure you get the same colour code. Brent at @BM WORLD will likely have one, or you can try Nick at Weitz Industries in Hamilton.
  24. Those headers look great. I like the clever idea of running pipes either side of the steering column to maximize as much exhaust flow for the space available.
  25. Looking so awesome man. Here are some pics of the inlet manifold flanges I was telling you about; If they are of any use to you for designing your intake adapters let me know. That electric water pump looks the business too. Does it remove the need for a mechanical thermostat too?
