    E36 Oil leak

Are you using the correct o-rings? Not all o-rings are designed to work with oil.

    1M Clone Build

What kind of hp are you getting?
  3. Very good chance its the final stage register - sometimes people call it the hedgehog. Make sure you replace with a genuine one, as the cheaper ones are known to not last long before failing.
  4. Lock diff is an instant red flag.
  5. Here it is in action installing a subframe bushing. Don't mind the rags, they are just there to avoid scratching the freshly painted subframe. Send me a text if you want to borrow it.
  6. Interesting response to his reviews as well; https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=dk+automotive+east+tamaki&oq=dkautomotive&aqs=chrome.3.69i57j0j69i60j0j69i60j0.11767j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#lrd=0x6d0d4d16b872c905:0x7e110af7ad63517b,1,
  7. One vote for koni yellows.
  8. Yea, thanks for that. I got my m3 subframe in pretty rough shape for only $150. It was only $40 more after sandblasting and painting. I thought I was doing well until I saw what else I needed. Ordering the wrong bushings from Schmeidmann didn't help matters either. I'm hoping for secondhand parts for everything bar the bushings.
  9. I used bitumen sill flashing tape from bunnings/mitre10. Its essentially the same stuff as the dynamat type stuff but without the dynamat type price. I covered the whole door with it after that photo was taken.

    E36 328I Track Car

How much more kw do you think you will be able to achieve by going to the link ecu?
  11. If you are doing subframe bushings you will probably want a press as my tool is more for the smaller bushings. You are welcome to bring your stuff around and I'll help you remove as many bushings as we can. You can bring around by hex key you borrowed last time too.
  12. Works okay for a free homemade one. Which bushings are you replacing, and are the suspension parts off the car?
  13. I have a homemade jobby which is just big washers and a long bolt.
  14. Hi guys, I'm after two e46 m3 subframe bushings (number 5 in the link) One e46 m3 'pushrod' (number 12 in the link) Two e46 m3 'stopper' (6 in the link) One e46 m3 'rod' (16 in the link) I will consider both stock or aftermarket bushings. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=BL93-USA---E46-BMW-M3&diagId=33_1076
  15. I have one available for sale. If you want it send me a pm.
  16. Installing 6.5 in the front requires a fair bit of modifying the door card. I think 6 just fits straight in. The weakness in the e46 system is the speaker attaches to the door card instead of the door itself. The biggest improvement is cutting a hole in the door and building a door pod, but this is alot of work;
  17. Hey Mike, what do you recommend for headers on a m62 in a e46?
  18. Will you be dynoing before and after?
  19. How much extra hp do you expect from these headers?
  20. "Part exchanges considered." Do it Ray!
  21. So much power, hes struggling to get grip. What an awesome car.
