    Must be frustrating for the seller - has invested a fair bit of time and effort into mods both real and cosmetic and I expect the net result doesn't appeal to many who prefer a more stock example.

    I like interesting interiors but that gold isn't my bag. I'd need to wear chains and chunky sunglasses. Like the white exterior but black wheels are a 'no'.     Couple of jobs done on my old E53 X5 - 2 new front axle assemblies installed (yay for MBI policy!) New brakes all round - pads, rotors and nice shiny discs all round. Job well done by my local garage Driscoll Motors - now to bed in the new brakes!

    Agree $15K is a bit high - from my experience with these vehicles there's a bunch of stuff that WILL happen at some point and it's better to buy when someone else has had the work done (and you have evidence of this). If not, then you'll wear it - in which case you better have a MBI policy. At 15yrs you can attach up to a *4* year policy - and BMW Club members can get a discount on these. These are not a cheap beastie to own. But they are awesome
