    I had replace the battery not too long ago. Pretty sure it has only had BMW coolant . . . Driscolls use BMW coolant in Bimmers. They gave me a bottle gratis at one point for top ups. The diligence with which you maintain your vehicles has to make you one of the best people to buy a car off! Always a good plan to buy off an enthusiast.

    +1 I really don't like gold cars normally - but that is pretty cool - and a manual 328i as well! Boring is bad!!!

    Damn that's a shame but at least you are OK. One of the downsides of the older cars is safety ..... cars have come along way since the 80s. Driving when tired is just a bad plan I hope you get yourself another Bimmer. E39s are a good safe car.

I can't decide if I like this or not. I think I do but it would need a carbon wrap for the trim. What do you guys think? Bring on the opinions!

    Awesome! I've been thinking that BimmerSport & BMWCC Welly have been lacking nice E39s to keep @HardBall66's company. Very pleased for you and look forward to seeing it real soon. Do agree on the MSport 17 wheels. V8 goodness. Thought had crossed my mind to buy this 'just because' but have no driveway space left and not sure how much renting at @Barryn's costs

    Dam Elijah - sounds frustrating. Sounds like you need codes read for the E46 - should give you a good steer. @promo could you help with this? Priority has to be getting this one sorted. FYI Jon at Auto38 will free code scans for BMW Car Club members. I've had misfires on both the 545i and M5 and it was coils both times... Looks like there's plenty on the to-do list for the E28!

    I really do like mine but this is cooler. Blue - check. 55KW more - check. Newer with less kms - check Heated seats with higher grade leather - check Pano roof - check running boards - check Hmmm. Must ignore it.
