+1 on this. E39 Motorsport Tourings are also pretty uncommon. It includes Bluetooth and radar detector too!
-
Go with what you like Matt It should go with the green exterior nicely. It is unusual to have black leather with a light interior tho ....
-
And .... an E60 M5 in Hamilton for $24.5K

I've seen the white leather with the aluminium trim and I'm not sure if it's better. :\ -
http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=1362350183 98kms NZ GPS Band expander????? Really? Hmmm - doh. Hopefully re-coded Aux port Has PassPort Max wired in but costs extra to leave it in .... Airbag sensor error and downshift paddle not working.
-
Yep looks that way. :\ It has much higher kms but looks in good condition and has both NZ Nav and radar detector which are nice extras. Incredible cars for the $$ but definitely a commitment

Great condition and an opportunity to pick up a classic after it has been well sorted. This might help with inspiration .... https://petrolicious.com/articles/new-old-school-bmws-e23-745i-and-e32-750il

When I had my '88 E34 535i I got 17MPG/17l/100KM (from mostly city driving) so yes it is thirsty for the level of performance. That's similar to my V8 X5 (currently showing 16) but less than my E60 M5. When Greg had the M5 his average was 17-18l/100KM but he did a bit more distance/motorway than me - I daily my M5 a day or two a week and a bit of motorway in the weekend and it averages 20. Regarding range - on our big Taihape-Napier roundtrip from Welly my M5 used 3 half tanks with a mix of enthusiastic driving and cruising.

You're tempted because they are epic. PPIs are like house inspections. Not a guarantee, but you don't want to NOT do one - and best to find the fussiest nitpicker and stick with them. It would be interesting to compare notes on the approaches taken by different places/people. How low? Hmmm. The 'value' is all to do with how much you want a crazy V10 supercar. This will never be a sensible car and you do need to be up for running costs. I've plenty of stuff about RS6s being $1/mile (or km) in running costs. Who knows if they will ever appreciate in price ... wouldn't bet on it but I do think this will be considered a classic in the fullness of time.
-
ALWAYS get a PPI done even if it doesn't look like a 'bargain' And without a thorough service history then we know it is a roll of the dice. I think this one does look promising considering what has purportedly been done.
-
This is unusually cheap .... and it is in Chch ... and you have to like white leather
-
Hiya from Welly Nathan. 135is rock - and yours looks fantastic. Like what you've done with it

http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=1358361377 102kms $23900 ONO! Think I might have posted about this one before :| I think if you like the white leather (I do) and can keep it clean then this is a good proposition. Very tidy and well maintained by the looks of things. Has both timber and aluminium trim. "It's had a gearbox/clutch done and brakes/discs at 98000kms. I've serviced / replaced other things such as fuel filter / air filters / idle actuators, carbon fuel canister's, secondary air pump. Also has x4 new tyres."

Controversial? How about a *nice* looking E65!!
