  1. A bit piss poor, but the new workshop in chch might be taking up their attention.
  2. Somewhat relevant, but if you've got some early Italian made 1:18 scale BBurago Ferrari models, they're worth moon beams if they're still boxed. This is strange to me, as I've got some and their quality is hardly anything to write home about, compared to their contemporaries of the time.
  3. +1 on very very tempting. Would be keen to hear from you two owners if using this kind of car for a 50km return commute on 100kph open highway each day would be wise / not wise? Don't really care about fuel costs, but would that sort of trip be enough to get things nice and hot to keep the car happy?
  4. Happy to sell my silver Autoart CSL for $500, no lowballers I know what I got.
  5. Somewhat serendipitously, I spied the black ZCP absolutely giving it the berries off the Queenstown Five Mile roundabout after I did Burkes and Lindis Passes this morning.
  6. The old girl is getting around!
  7. Currently removing 15,000km of life out of my PS4S's on every alpine pass in the South Island.
  8. Suspect the answer is zero?? There were 116 ZCP cars made RHD globally, and 135 RHD LCI manuals produced, so having the combination of both and NZ new would be infinitesimal. I believe only 4 ZCP E90's were sold NZ new? I've only ever seen the Space Grey and the Jerez Black one though, both DCT.
  9. the Japanese sale brochures never mentioned colour, but given a keen eye, I believe the colour combos are: Delphin grey body / Vulcan grey kit Lazur blue body / Atlantis blue kit Lachs sliver body / Vulcan grey kit Diamond black body / Vulcan grey kit
  10. ...Because it IS a different colour, that's how the Japanese M-Technic 320i / 325i's came.
  11. Might have been orange peel out of the gun that required wet sanding? I'd be wanting pictures of the kit completely off the car from anyone advertising an mt2 with a full respray.

    M TOY M3

Yep the BMW Performance calipers are the same as 135i's. But fancy yellow gold paint!
  13. The only benefit would be that it's easier to fit an E30 M3 quick rack, there's more room for headers, and there's no massive brake linkage under the dashboard. I personally don't mind left hook in older cars at all, plenty of glass house to see what's going on around oneself. Maybe the complainers just eat a lot more drive-thru than me.
  14. The silver car on TM in Auckland is really really bloody tempting me. Reckon I could run it until April / May as a summer toy and get my money back?
  15. Cheeeeeap! Someone must want to buy themselves a late crimbo pressy!

    E46 M3

@m325i spotted you giving it the berries past Diamond Takeaways as I was en route to London via the airport, sounded good coming on cam 😁 When you say MF pad do you mean foam as compared to wool? I went down the Rupes rabbit hole a few years ago and run Farecla product on rupes pads and DA in a professional setting - I'd be interested to see if the CarPro range compares
  17. Given the choice, I’d rather the Canaries over the Azores! Both wonderful (if quiet) but I think you’d go slightly less stir crazy at the former. And I actually saw a few E30’s there.
  18. 12,819 Z4 3.0si coupés, and 4,275 Z4M coupés. You can break the numbers down a lot further LHD/RHD.
  19. lot auctions for anyone confused by a screenshot... https://rmsothebys.com/en/home/lots/mu22 The '93 318iS JTCC at less than half the price might have been the bargain of the auction though - very vague auction intel but easily identifiable car and history.
  20. You still in Auckland Huddy? Maplight and tweeters please, probably all the powerflex bushings as well.
  21. Occam's razor would suggest that this is merely a comprehensive respray rather than the vin decoder throwing out the wrong information.
  22. If the E89 had the fastback style of the E86 it would be one of the all time great BMW shapes, but I guess a slight compromise has to be made for the bonus of having the option of the roof up or down. It's as real shame that BMW didn't capitalise on the success of the GT3/E cars and do an M version, the N54 cars were a really sweet thing to drive, there definitely would have been a (small) market for breathed on engine and some grunty flairs ala the 1M.
  23. EDC switch could indicate the optional Nurburgring package, but I don’t know if that was given a specific option code? Pretty beefy camber plates nonetheless.
  24. ...Really? My E55K should have come with a towbar for the oil refinery it needed to tow around. The E63 that replaced it was positively frugal in comparison, despite the headbolts it decided to consume.
