I bet! Can’t imagine how well they go with an F20c

Had this little badboy for an amazing day in the sun today - Bday gift from the wife. So much fun - 140whp and 600kg is more than enough for me - made the E30 feel like driving a houseboat afterwards. Incredible steering and brake feel and the noise from the 4 banger 20V with ITBs and side pipe was truly savage. Would reccomend!

Very cool indeed, I suspect thats priced to sell, but who knows. Saw it a couple of years ago when I sold him the roof racks that came on mine. -
No pics but exchanged waves with a clean looking white E24 in Northcote this morning, both of us out in the rain with our old bangers

Finally fixed my odometer gears and gave the cluster a mini tart up while I was at it with a polished cover and an Mtechnic tachometer gauge face. Kept it subtle and resisted the urge to paint the needles red 😂 Tried matte black cluster rings (2nd pic) but decided against them. Also had some new SI board batteries and capacitors but it all looked good and my soldering isn’t great so decided to not mess with it unnecessarily. Also troubleshooting a pesky ABS light, right before WOF time… does not appear to be sensors and the relays ‘look’ as good as new 🤔

No towing for me, wagon is big enough haha

Been a while as I don’t drive this too often - car has been reasonably faultless - only a service so far and steering rack knock fixed (common issue apparently). This weekend I took advantage of the nice weather, took a gulp and handed the wife the keys to the E30 and took the F31 solo camping at Tawharanui. Naturally feels like a Rolls Royce on the open road compared to the E30. Next mission I reckon I’ll take the E30 camping as pretty sure I can get all the same stuff squeezed in there and it will make for better photos haha.

Awesome! an Isle of Man Green G81 is an incredible looking car - perhaps not the most 'classically' beautiful, but a genuine head turner with insane performance and practicality 😎

A special car just got a little more special!

My favourite is their pride and joy they’ve owned for 3 months. -

That actually looks like a great car with a realistic price -

Thank goodness he's used a cover on it -
Ahhh yes - these are going to look fantastic and with the PS5s should transform the car!

What were the new wheels again?

To be fair, its in magnificent cosmetic condition (mechanically can assume it needs attention, sitting around so much). 48km would be more of a factor in a rarer spec.

Ahhh I did wonder if it was the one in question from your other thread but for some reason I had assumed it was a tech 2. -

Mtech 1 / 2 Hybrid? https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/325i/listing/4300604823 Interesting, I don't think the leather interior hurts it at all but definately looks like it needs some love. -
Car has been going great guns through the miserable winter months but with the nice change in weather got out on a few rural backroads with @Cement and @elias on Saturday - Dave and I having to navigate a pretty decent swathe of semi' precarious gravel roads, so here is a rare dirty picture of the old girl! Next project is a cluster refurb and tart up and then a refurbished steering rack before the next WOF. From there will just be dirivng the wheels off it and saving up for some rust repair and full respray next winter.

Nice car mate - and sharp price, especially with the kms, colour and 6 speed. GLWS

Wheels look great and the crisp white really adds to the oddball late 90s /early 00s vibe. Usually those Msport E46 Alcantara interior don't age well but looks super clean! Enjoyed my auto 3.38 diff ZF manual E46 - yes, first was short but gave every other gear way more oomph than the 2.93.

Whats the colour, out of interest?
