Euro Italian Car Parts NZ Ltd - UPDATE
Sammo replied to euroitalian's topic in New Member Introductions
Previously I've bought most parts offshore but had a fantastic experience with Euro Italian recently when I needed a new tie rod end for the E30 and got it on a same day courier on a Monday at a great price. A real lifesaver which saved me having the car off the road for a while. Will definately be using you in the future!- 10 replies

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
Sammo replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
I want to say it was originally advertised at double that 4-5 months ago too? $14k seems reasonable for a tidy two door with mint sports interior. Market has definately cooled off in general, although apparently that Malachite Green wagon actually sold for $48k π² -
Beautiful car - the metallic green's are so right on a PFL. Any plans for it aside maintenence? Looks perfect as-is IMO

Another day, another Tech 2 party π Good little meet up and lunch at Hallertau Clevedon then I kicked on to Kaiaua to stretch the legs. Car really is running great and always relishes being pushed a bit.

Amazing work, I didn't realise this was already on the road - love how clean and stock it looks for such a modified car π€ Bet it rips too

Straight through the WOF today - my first such success with the E30! Still a large to-do list however; I'm not sure being mildly pedantic + 35 year old 400,000km car go hand in hand but I'll give it a go!

What speakers do I have and what are good replacements ?
Sammo replied to Cement's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
Same as my old E46 - you can fit 6.5" components in there, the woofers will need to be on the shallow side though - looking at old emails looks like I went with JBL 6500C. I remember tweeters required a little fiddling but got them in nice in the end. I had an Ali Express OEM style touchscreen running wireless carplay and bypassed the factory amplifier with a 4x100RMS pioneer running the fronts and then bridged to a small sub in boot. Worked well - solid quality, volume and functionality. -
Had a chance to buy my 5 original weaves back today from the guy I sold them to so jumped on it. Will give them a DIY refurb and be nice to have the two sets of wheels to change up the look and feel from time to time.

Haha, came here to post this - a boy racer giving enthusiasts a bad name. Now.... was the 'dream car' the E87 or SW20 π€

Beautiful! Cirrusblau is such a gorgeous colour for a PFL with the chrome

Red one would be unique for sure, although I'm not sure about red on modern cars. Interlagos is a great colour (and track!) and although its not a 'colour' as such Space Grey is a much darker tone than Titan Silver.

Yeah, recognised Apex in background - would love to see it on Alpinas with some Gold Alpina pinstriping π -
Could try @BMWRadios on Insta - he's in Estonia and restores and sells RDS radios with bluetooth / preouts etc - he may be open to shipping parts too. https://www.instagram.com/bmwradios/?hl=en I had a fantastic experience with my custom one for the E30.

Looks like a fabulous car and I'm not surprised its an amazing drive - light(ish) weight, top down, flat 6, mid engined - I also think the 987 exterior / interior was a big leap over the 986. And yes - Cayman S manual - DO IT *BRB, off to look at longhood 911s on Bring a Trailer*

Looks like a parts car

Whats a stock 325i without driver? 1250kg?

Congrats man - she is a beauty for sure - look forward to meeting you and chatting on Saturday with Jeremy (I'm Sam). Nice thing is almost all the mechanical components of an E30 are avaliable new, and being an M325i, your car already has most of the more desireable 'No longer Avaliable' goodies! RealOEM is a great source for finding the correct part numbers for your specifc car (need last 7 digits of your vin). Offshore parts (for quality new OEM at landed prices typically half of BMW NZ): FCP Euro / Schmeidmann / Ebay for odds and ends Local Parts Euro Italian on the North Shore - reasonable amount of E30 stock at good prices and quick shipping Speedfactor in Tauranga do shocks / springs / coilovers Aftermarket parts Turner Motorsport / ECS Tuning / Garagistic / Condor Speed Shop / Ireland Engineering / Demontweeks Local Workshops: Jackstands and Youtube or Apex Automotive in Wairau if I'm getting sick of breaking things haha

Swapped my springs out - looking for a slightly more age-appropriate (myself and the car) stance and comfort level. Replaced the ST Springs (50mm/40mm) with the popular H&R Sport 29664-1 springs (35mm/35mm). Really happy with them - have gained a very useful 10-15mm height all-round but car still looks great and sporty - ride quality is significantly improved as well (and I didn't feel the ST's were harsh). Possibly a slightly less performance orientated spring (?) but I already have larger sway bars and sticky tyres for fun stuff anyway.

Will someone tell him he's dreaming or should I?
Sammo replied to Vass's topic in TradeMe discussions
I do love that colour on an E46 (moreso on a PFL but I think thats an M3 only thing). Market on these has been pretty stagnant the past year and I sold mine last December for $17,500. I'm yet to see one as nice come up for sale but plenty with higher asking prices. -
Ahhh Iβm such a numpty - saw the βcslβ plate and similar kms and assumed!
